Can't log in to the forums using Chrome.

Starting this morning, when I try to log in to the forums using chrome I get the "thank you for logging in..." redirect screen and then when the page reloads I'm not logged in. I am having no problems accessing the site through Firefox (it's what I'm using to post this) so it seems to be a Chrome specific problem. I've tried clearing both my browsing cache and all cookies related to boards.cityofheroes.com, but there has been no change. Any ideas for a next step?

i use chrome all the time on my home computer and ive never had problems logging in, although it does log me out if i am not active on the web page within like 5-10 min

I haven't had any problems previously, and I've been using chrome as my primary browser since I got it months ago. The only thing that I know of that changed this morning was that java had an update. But I'm not sure how that would have effected anything, since I only enable it for websites that need it, and the CoH forums don't. Javascript, yes, but the actual java plugin, no.

i have occasionally had the issue your having where it immediatly logs out, but its rare for me, i just log back in again and usually works 2nd time

Well, changing my password on the PlayNC site didn't produce any changes in behavior. I don't post that much (as my post total compared to my join date would tell you) so it wouldn't be too much of a problem to just check once a day to see if the glitch fixes itself as mysteriously as it occured, and just use this other browser if I need to post.
