items of power no longer exist as they used to, they are now granted as 7 day temp powers per person who selects
so yes basically all base raiding stuff is moot atm (vaults, item of power base, dimensional anchors, all base defenses)
although it can still be used as decor
OK, so the Item and Vault Room etc all CAN still be placed in a base? I know they would be moot, but wanted to clarify that they CAN be placed. Thanks!

Well, there is something in there for zero cost called an Item of Power. It cannot be placed? It looks like some kind of inscribed ring that goes on the floor.

That's the empty display stand for an Item of Power. I believe you can place that.

On that note, I would definitely go to the trouble and prestige of building a secure vault room if I could place a decorative item of power in it.
Even if I had to complete the CoP to unlock it. And even if it had no function outside of looking cool. I would love to have one.

i wouldnt care if they were temps like 2 weeks then it would fade away, it would give more reason to actually do CoPs with the god-awful rewards it gives out

Sorry if this has been discussed much in the past; if so, I've not come across it yet.
New base builder here, scratching my head a bit. I know that base raids are ancient history. But, a lot of related items are still available in bases even though they are currently meaningless. My question is specifically about the Item of Power.
I see it available. Looks like it has to be specifically in a Vault room. It has a cost of zero. If I put a Vault room in a base, will I be able to put an Item of Power in it? If so, do I need six Dimensional Anchors throughout the base to make this work?
Or is this item still in the interface, but not actually available to place in a base? I know it would be meaningless, but it might be an interesting thing to stick in a corner of a base plot. So, I'm curious on the current status of all this.
By the way, I would just go test it, but the base I'm working on is already mostly filled out. It would be a LOT of work to clear space just to test this. But, if it is possible, I might revamp an area for it. So, I'm not trying to be lazy, honest. :-)
