To the best of my knowledge, yes, an NCSoft 60 Day Time Card will grant VIP Status to the account that it is applied to.

As a side note, it's worth mentioning that the 'renewing monthly sub' isn't some kind of trap. You can sign up for a subscription, wait a day or so to confirm it is active, then go back to account management and CANCEL the subscription. Your subscription will remain active for the one month that you paid for (which gets charged to your card immediately). Cancelling your subscription does not remove your game access. It just prevents your card from being automatically charged again in one month.

Ok.. So, this is the ONLY place on the forum that I'm allowed to make a new thread, so it's probably not where it's supposed to be, not my fault. :S
But I had a question regarding buying VIP/subscription time. Would purchasing a game time card work for it still, along with all perks and benefits of VIP? I mean, I don't see why not but I feel it's better to ask.
I ask because come payday I was planning to purchase VIP for both myself and someone else, hopefully without a renewing monthly sub.
