Kheldians for Premiums?

Hi all,

My friend, who started playing at EU Beta (and stopped a few months after the game went live) is able to play Kheldians, but no SoAs.

Arent those two ATs supposed to be locked for Premium players? I'm asking because my friend wants to play a Warshade, but doesnt want to see it locked in the future in case he can only play it because of a bug.

So, can premium players play kheldians? Is my friend safe to roll one or should he stick to the noon-epic 10 ATs?

Thanks

No, not normally. Or at least only if you have to have enough time on your account to unlock it permanently. Or buy the unlock at the store.

So unless your friends wants to pay for the unlock, I don't think he should invest a lot of energy into epics. Unless he really likes them, then just get the unlock, or stick to VIP.

While this may be the intention, it's certainly not the outcome.

I have a friend who played for a couple of months after GR came out. He unlocked Kheldians, and made a Warshade.

After Freedom, he came back into the game briefly, and was able to use one of his two global character tokens to unlock and play his Warshade.

Thats exactly what happens to my friend. He is premium, but can play kheldians no problem. Maybe because he unlocked the AT before Freedom?

Would love to have an official answer about this issue.

Unlikely that you will get an "official answer" posting in this forum. Perhaps a PM to Avatea or Zwillinger?

I didn't want to suggest that the OP send in a bug report, since his friend wants to play, but I assume it is a bug, and might be fixed at some point. Hence my reply "not normally."

If your friend wants to play is Kheld for free, he has to be prepared to pay to unlock it, even if it's currently buggy and unlocked when it shouldn't. Just sayin: don't be surprised if this changes. Your friend should be made aware of the possibility.

Oh, he's certainly aware! I told him at the time (since we were chatting on the phone as he was getting into the game) that he could lose access to the character at zero notice.

Well my friend has read the thread and thanks you all. He says that he wont roll his WS...for now :P But in the event he rolled it, he now knows that it may fly at any moment
