Premiums and SG's

They can do any of those as soon as they are promoted to a SG/VG rank with those permissions.
OK, I know that a premium has to be at least Paragon Rewards Tier 2 in order to join an SG, but at what level can a premium:
1) invite others into an SG, 2) promote others 3) modify storage permissions, etc. Is that included with the Tier 2? (I'm basically trying to figure out if it's worth the hassle to set up a premium account just to have a toon of my own to use to invite my other alts into my solo SG's) |
Your Paragon Rewards status is irrelevant to that.
Mind of Gaia lvl 50 Defiant's first Mind/Storm 'troller.
Deadly Doc 50 Dark/Dark Corr
and lots more on Pinnacle,Union and Defiant

Oh and if the OP isn't in a rush, it might be a good idea to wait for the next sale on VIP Starter Kits.
$2 bucks is a hell of a lot more palatable price if the only concern is being able to invite alts to SG's on the main account. |
Better, I agree...but I doubt worth waiting however many months it takes them to put kits on sale again - Your mileage of course may very

Yes, I RP and play Redside on Virtue - No, Rumors of its demise have been greatly exaggerated
Do you suck at COH/COV? not yet...
No more palatable than the $15 bucks the Starter Kit normally costs, and everything that comes with it.

The $5 option will get someone Premium status.

It will get them the bonus token for tier 2 which will allow for SG invites (incld. membership permissions), & a few chat perks.
It will not allow them to pay rent at the registrar, since it is not VIP status.

It will allow for all VIP perks, including interaction with the SG registrar (create base, pay rent).
However, if one does not re-sub after a month, the account will lapse to Premium Status, and their perks will again be limited (no registrar permissions).
Both options are viable; it just depends on what the goals are.

YUMMY Low-Hanging Fruit for BASE LUV
NM, OP was talking about solo base and we're O/T.
Also reiterating that it isn't the players that support the devs decision. We're just stuck with it until they change their minds or give us a way to create personal lairs.
If an entire group goes preem they'll have to invite a VIP to pay rent, but a group really shouldn't have a problem getting at least 1 VIP to join. Preems most likely will have access to global channels and such so will be able to draw from that community for assistance and membership.
