Unbalanced Archetype Ticket Distribution (re: not getting AE tickets)

This is partially a response to this thread (as a non-VIP, I cannot reply to threads):

The author doesn't say what classes he's playing, but I already know the answer. He's a Defender or some other support class. My husband and I also play through AE missions. When I play Defender with his Mastermind, I get squat while he will frequently get capped tickets for the run. When I switch to Brute and he goes Defender, the reverse will happen.

The ticket bonus appears to be based either on damage or actions, but I suspect it's based on damage. It doesn't matter that my Fulcrum Shift is turning his Zombies into miniature killing machines and keeping his endurance levels up so the carnage never stops, and without me his progress would be at a crawl. My performance isn't good enough to reward me with the tickets I deserve.

How did this get past development? The rewards should be based on the entire team's combined performance. It's one thing to try and to curb leeching, but it's another to discourage support classes from participating.

Not sure if this changed but I used to "leech" a lot on AE farms. Door sitting, and sometimes paying a nice bit of coin for it. Capped tickets evertime. havent done it in a while, but it was very regular 6 months ago. I have found other more active ways to level thru some of the doldrum periods, and I actually prefer to play my toons (shock!0. But back when I was 50-ing designs to test them I used the AE farming a lot, and that was my experience.

If your refering to my post I actually play most classes. Rrecently I've run Blaster, Scrapper, Brute and Tank through the missions with no difference in drop rates.
