Plant/Psi Thoughts?

I'm slowly getting addicted to making builds. >.> I just wish I was better at them. Been working on this for my Plant/Psi Dom; who is leaning towards Fire as her ancillary. I put a focus on Recharge to get Perma-Dom, under the thought that with Drain Psyche and Seeds of Confusion Defense won't be as big a deal.

I know the set is purple heavy, but I have many of those purples stashed away, and after pricing the rest at the AH, they're all within my budget. Same with the LotG recharges. My basic plan for this would be an AoE monster, which I'm hoping is attainable between Rain, Fireball, and Shockwave.

Well i looked at your build, and if you turn off the PvP setting, your losing just about all of your Resistances. Other than that, i couldn't see much else wrong with it. Also, i'd prefer the Unbreakable Constraints on the "Vines" since they are targeted AoE instead of single target, increasing the probability of the Chance for Smashing proc to go off. Hope this helps. And if anything, heres my build that i'm using.

Here is something that is a lot more resilient/tanky than the previously posted builds. You lose some of the AoE, however. It is softcapped to Smashing/Lethal defense as well as having permadom.

Here's another build using Ice Mastery for a more tankery feel. This one includes spirit tree to go with Drain Psyche for a potentially capped regen in certain instances. Capped HP for most of the time. Just short of Perma Drain Psyche. Defensive numbers aren't quite as high as some builds, but you can cap s/l with a small purple. Perma Dom. Less than 40S rech on ice storm, so AOE won't be too shabby. Still room to improve on this build, but it does include Incarnates and Accolades that should be helpful.
Also, I can't tell you how much damage creepers is doing as there are too many different sources of damage.

Definitely go with ice mastery, Sleet if ftw and having softcapped S/L def along side all the +regen from drain psyche is a deal breaker, but its mostly for Sleet.

Here is my current build for comparison. Capped S/L with decent recharge for permadom and faster attacks/holds make it pretty solid. Hope it helps.

One question I did have though is what is everyone using for incarnates pn plant/psi. End isn't much of a problem iwth Drain Psyche so are you all going Musculature and then what's useful for the otehr incarnate slots please?

I'm going with Musculature because of the damage and immobilization increase; they both sound useful. For my others:

Interface: Reactive all the way; 75% chance on Carrion Creepers should be sweet.
Destiny: Barrier. I don't really need heals or endurance, Clarion is worthless with Domination always up, but the extra defense is always nice!
Judgement: Ion, because I really lack a distance punch.
Lore: Rikti, purely because the character in question is a cowgirl. Cowboys and Aliens. :3
