Mac Client does not Load, Update and Install

Tried to update my MAC client today and it kept getting stuck in a loop. Deleted the program and did a new install, that did not help. Removed the program and the NC Launcher program so I could download a new installer and that did not work either.

Problem occurs when I try to play i get a message "Download patch does not match expected hash". After clicking continue 20-30 times, a prompt comes up saying "Applications/City of Heroes.app/PS/CityOfHeroes_Main_0.0.0.0To0.0.0.1/PatchManifest.xml could not be loaded!". Before anyone says the standard "delete the manifest", I followed that path and found the the xml file can't be loaded because there is no file to load.

I'm on Mac OS X 10.6.8. I can understand a update not working but I downloaded a new client to install. That should always work. Whats the problem here?

My Norton antivirus Vulnerability Protection was on. Disable it or any internet monitoring or Mac firewalls and try again. It is finally downloading on my macbook pro

Good catch. Turned off Norton and it seems to be working. Thanks!
