NEED CRITIQUE: PvE Bad Kinetic/Energy Build needs help! - Mids' Build Included
It's been a day! Not even one response?
This is not a build suggestion as my KM/EA brutes runs Kinetic Combats and LotG's (no Purples/PVP).
You mentioned cost which a lot of ppl have issues with.
Here is a tip: run Tip missions (sorry coudlnt help myself )
Run 5 tips a day (which is the max allowed). After the 10th tip grind for the next Tip mission which is a special Morality Missions and can be run on the same day as the 2nd lot of 5 (so in effect you can do 6 tips if you have already done the first 5 the day prior).
First time you do this and keep your alignment as Hero or Villain you get 50 Reward Merits.
However each time you do this again (and keep your alignment as Hero or Villain) you will get a special Alignment Merit. 2 A.Mertis can purchase any non-purple/pvp IO recipe (Miracle+, Numi++, LotG +Rech, Obliteration quad, etc).
First stop is to make a Numi ++ (or other proc) and craft/sell it on the WW/BM.
This will allow you to purchase the majority of your IO's.
The next 2 Merits you get either repeat for more cash or craft and use what you need.
Now with an /EA brute you can easily stealth past (or just regular brute stealth) past mos tof the mobs on the Tip missions to get to the final part (kill boss, glowie, etc) and complete the missions VERY fast. Some missions are Kill alls though.
Also by killing any lvl 20+ enemy has a chance to grant a new Tip mission so you will NEED to be killing some bad guys along to way so you can do more.
If this is an option for you (GR is needed and some people just dont WANT to have to run 5 missions a day on a toon to help it) then redo your build ignoring the cost of IO's (except Purples/PvPs as they are worth a lot more A.Merits).
Can you help me with any glaring flaws or issues, any major global IOs, etc? Trying to keep the general price down, so avoiding purple sets.
NOTES:
1) This is now for a Tanking Brute, rather than a Damaging Scrapper.
2) Trying to keep costs reasonable. The LotGs as it is will break me.
