So is there anything I can do to fix this?

The problem is the Launcher and game were installed via a non admin acct, so it will still need permission to run, actually all programs do to a degree, just set the launcher as suggested above and it should work fine.
Like I said, I just changed my whole user account to administrator. It did not help.
That doesn't mean its trying to run the game as an admin. It's a little confusing but I use my admin account in Win7 and still have to set most programs to run as admin separately.
It has to do with the way some folders are public and some are private.
Finally got it to work.
Changed my user account back to standard from administrator, rebooted, logged back on to my now standard user account. Clicked the launcher, it asked my for administrator password (just like it did when I installed a few days ago). Patched for maybe 15 seconds and then started the game. My in-game graphics setting were reset, but that is easy to fix, everything else seems to be fine!
Hope I wont have to do this every time there is a patch. Thanks everyone.
So starting this morning I get this error message when trying to patch. I played for the previous 3 days with no problem. My guess is that it's an administrator issue since I am playing on a new computer that I only had for a few days and I am playing on a user account without administrator privileges.
I what happens now is I run the launcher, get a popup that says there is a virtual store folder it wants to remove, click yes, get the error where it says cannot create a file that already exists, click repair, new error message where it says access to path is denied.
I am new to using Win7. Could someone give me some very easy step by step instruction on how to make sure CoH permissions are set correctly so it can (hopefully) patch? Right now I am about to try temp fix by turning on administrator privilege to that whole user account. But I would rather not have to do that every time there is a patch.
