Bots/Time?

I have a concept for a Bots primary. This would be my first mastermind. I have multiple 50s but was away for a couple years so trying out all the once redside ATs I could use some guidance and am curious if anyone has any builds already for Bots/Time? Is this even a worthwhile concept or is /Time best left to other ATs? I know FF seems very popular for Bots, so would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat. I also have altoholism bad with the proliferations and new powersets. Bots/time, Time/rad defender (surprisingly good), Demons/sonic a happy little theme pairing that is working REALLY well, Beam Rifle/poison corruptor, and a Dark/dark blaster keep me alting hard )

My experience with Bots/Time, part of the learning curve is learning Time which is brand new. I found Bots/Time less durable than Bots/poison, less durable by far than Bots/dark. I got SOs, the second Protector Bot, and it still felt ... challenging. The assault bot certainly helped, but when I picked up Far Sight at level, the incremental defense on top of the protector shields made a noticeable significant improvement.

I took hover, leadership, and hasten. Hover is good to position the time juncture and temporal mending spheres to cover the pets on stairs, slanted topography and such. I plan to take Black Scorpion patron.

I don't think time is as impressive as traps, dark, storm with Bots, but it looks like it will be a lot of fun.

If you're going time then definetly get BS's patron set. Power Boost will make a big difference to Far Sight and I think it'll make it much more viable for bots. Time in general is a really good all-round set so once you reach the end-game you're no doubt still going to kick some.

The combination looks pretty solid to me. Many folks are bemoaning the fact that pets get nothing from the +rech. It doesnt phase me at all.

Positional softcap(easily brought to iSoftcap if desired) very decent healing for both you and your pets, and some very decent regeneration for your pets as well.

The -dmg paired with paralytic interface gives you even better layering of defense. Add tough and bodyguard mode to that and you will be pretty hard to kill.

The +damage and +tohit will ensure your pets are hitting hard even against higher con mobs.

The only hole I see is lack of mez protection which is very easily filled by clarion.

180%+ +recharge means you will be firing your debuffs so fast you wont have time to stand still watching your bots kill ****.

Here is a build I put together. There is a lot of room to play with slots in this combination without losing any of the main goals. As I said earlier, can easily iSoftcap if you put Scorpion shield in and give it a slot or two.

Thanks Sinister, appreciate your input and the build to look at!

Static thanks for the tip on BS.

Psylenz altitis is no joke lol, but I enjoy seeing the new sets in action, I just timidly make new toons without a wee bit of research.

Appreciate all the help folks!

I would add to SinisterDirge that Time manipulation is a Very clicky secondary -- no sleeping while the robots kills stuff such as Forcefields. This secondary is as active as poison. It is almost as active as a defender kinetic primary. I think time crawl is a wonderful thing for a buff/debuff set.

Some aspects of time don't seem that spectacular, but then it synergizes with a teammate's buff or debuff and then it's obvious the effects are not marginal.
