Pretty sure this is due to the IDF pieces being a special case of both "free" for VIPs yet also purchasable. I have a feeling that if someone purchased the set it would work since booster pack sets work in AE.

Does anyone know if we can use the imperial defense costume set on our toons? I've gotten errors with it and wasn't sure if it was just me or have others seen it too. I can use Celestial (purchased via paragon rewards), not ascension, and not ID.
