CoX client freezes whenever I try to access inspirations stored in the base

Any time I click on the Inspiration storage in my base my CoX client freezes. Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround other than simply abandoning this feature (and all the inspirations previously stored in my base)?

Sounds like a memory or graphic driver issue. (I'm accessing Insp Storage in my base just fine.)

Then post the results of these two programs in a new thread in the Tech Issues Forum:

• CoH Helper - it will show us basic computer settings and your CoH configuration.
• HijackThis - it will show us what's running on your computer concurrently with CoH. Click on "Do a system Scan and save a logfile." It will automatically open up Notepad and put the info there. Make sure Wordwrap is off in Notepad (Format > Wordwrap unchecked) before you cut and paste here.

In the meantime, go the NCLauncher and right click on the game and chose Repair to see if that fixes it. And make your sure graphics drivers are up to date.

I updated my graphics drivers, did a memory test, did a Repair from the Launcher, and tested again with my McAfee real-time virus scanning both ON and OFF. No memory errors and no change in behavior no matter what I do.

There was a known bug with the Enchantment storage that I thought they mentioned they fixed it with the last patch (use to get slower and slower when using storage before finally crashing).

However, I not sure if it the same problem with the Inspiration storage (I can't remember having the same problem with Inspiration storage). Maybe by fixing the problem with one storage they caused a problem with the other....

Just to confirm, moving the Insp Storage around a bit didn't help.

Are you the only person having problems accessing the inspirations? Try having a friend attempt to take something out, or install the client on a different computer and try from there. At least that way you'll know if the issue is with your client / computer, or a random glitch with the base itself.

Also, do you have more than one inspiration bin? If so, are you having problems with all of them, or only the one bin? Narrowing it down like that might give a telling clue as to what's happening. Like perhaps there's one particular inspiration that's glitched, but it's an uncommon one to store so most people wouldn't have the issue.

You have submitted a bug report on this right? We in the forums can only offer suggestions. You can submit a petition too to see if you can get the GMs to do something if they can.
