Why are people against changing Assault Rifle?

Is there a link to a thread where people are stating they are opposed to changing the name of the power set because this is the first time I've ever heard it was even being discussed.
I propose changing the name to Bangity-Fwoosh Stick.

Made one a while ago wondering if we were gonna get changes to it, considering they were doing some minor updates to other sets. It just seems whenever I ask people are against it or they give it reasons why it's great.

Thanks for the link. 
I understand it's a great set but it's not really an Assault Rifle. Only Assault Rifle like set in the game belongs to the Wolf Spider. (Which is hard for me to play considering I can't stand villains side for to long). Honestly I just think it needs a new name, or something. I don't know. I know people are gonna be against it but it's not an Assault Rifle. Only costume weapon for that set that makes sense is the one with the flame barrel and what not.
