Pet/NPC recharge and recovery questions

I'm a /dark MM, and a fellow SG member of mine recommends slotting a miracle: +recovery into my dark servant or twilight grasp instead of health; he says that this way the +recovery will affect my pets as well. I must say this is the first time I've heard of such a thing. Can anyone confirm this?

He also recommends slotting a Dark Watcher's Despair: Chance of Rech Slow into my dark servant; that its attacks would give the chance of -recharge on (even NPC) enemies. But I was under the understanding that NPCs are not affected by recharge buffs/debuffs. Can anyone also confirm that this would indeed perform the desired effect?

Thanks everyone!

I can't say that I've ever heard of someone putting any of the recovery/regen uniques into a pet. I don't see why it wouldn't give them extra recovery, but it really wouldn't make sense to me. The main reason being that you would only get the recovery benefit from the miracle unique every time you casted Dark Servant, so you'd have to cast him every two minutes. (It would make even less sense on a MM pet)

As for the -recharge proc, it's mostly worthless, you'd be better off slotting for -ToHit.

I believe the assumption was that if you add the proc to Twilight grasp or Dark Servant (Who has his own Twilight grasp), whenever you use the power or Fluffy uses the power the proc would be applied to everyone hit by the power. I don't know if that's actually true, I've never tried it. However I would trust Microcosm if he's saying it wouldn't work.

Murphys Military Law

#23. Teamwork is essential; it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.

#46. If you can't remember, the Claymore is pointed towards you.

#54. Killing for peace is like screwing for virginity.

Recipients of twilight grasp's heal in no way will benefit from the unique health procs. Only the caster. Moreover, placing said proc in dark servant will only trigger the proc when the mastermind casts the darkservant spell, no other time.

OP: whoever told you otherwise was misinformed, high, or both. And kids, don't spec high.

The best proc - hands down - for fluffy is the cloud sesnses proc. Chance for damage off of just about everything it does.
