I haven't messed with it, but I vaguely recall reading this in threads that go something like "Mandatory costume token for gender change".

Yeah, I just ran into the exact same issue. The lvl 10 VEAT costume slot is borked.
That thread is, I believe, in the City of Heroes Freedom and Issue 21: Convergence Bug Reports Forums section.
EDIT: Why yes, yes it is in that section. Free Arachnos Widow Sex Change... MANDATORY!
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

I didn't see a thread for this anywhere, my apologies if it's been covered elsewhere... I'm playing a female Arachnos Widow, and am doing my Brick Johnson mission with the new costume slot unlocking. But when the slot unlocked, it unlocked as male.
Anyone else encounter this problem? Anyone seen a solution?
