One Monster Event does not establish a trend.
And the Pally Construction one is (in my experience) one of the harder ones to get interest in. I think it's got one of the best names but if folks are not paying attention they think you're asking to destroy an already built one, which does not get a badge.
Anyways, the Construction event is a longer one. You don't just group up and spank a Giant Monster, you have to endure the build timer. So I have always found it more difficult to get a group together for.
If I'm on and see it happening, I try to stop by and see if anyone wants the badge. But I'm in the minority.

I have to agree with the OP. I saw that the Kraken was up in PP and I broadcast it on all the channels I knew about and got ZERO response. I waited around and kept spamming the channels but no one had the slightest interest.

I'm happy to take part in the special events but in general I don't feel that the rewards are worth the time spent.
Depending on the time of day and given that the server is new it may take a few days to get up to speed, try /chanjoin BMT of Exalted and /chanjoin Exalted Events

I was wondering why it seems people aren't interested in monster hunts on this server. Last night i saw someone advertising for the Pally Construction, and it seemed most people were like "I don't have time for that." As a person that came from Champion, I guess I am used to teams getting formed for monsters fairly fast, even people that already have the badge come out to help. I just hope that this isn't the norm, as monster hunts can be a lot of fun for just a few minutes of your time.
