It's been requested in many different ways.
We'd also love to be able to access the storage from the base crafting tables and empowerment stations.
Not holding my breath, though.

I like the idea as long as we are given the ability to choose which bins are linked. Many SG's allow leaders to use bins for personal storage, so we don't want just any one snatching stuff they aren't entitled to get.
This also applies to bin permissions. You have to be careful that the system doesn't get around the security features designed to keep unauthorized SG members from looting the bins.
