BS vs. Katana

If everyone else fell, maybe it was because you had training wheels on your bike while they didn't!
Both sets are nearly identical. DA faster means more buffing though. And BS gets the most weapons customization in the game.
Re: Kat/WP When I had just rolled mine and was searching past posts for info about slotting, I read a lot of criticism saying that the powerset combo was "training wheels." This stays in the back of my head when suggesting it to other players, but when you're the last man standing with a donut of enemies trying to wail on you, that aint no training wheels, that's powerfulness. |
Pretty much what everyone else is saying.
Katanna is faster.
BS does more damage.
It all comes down to what style you like.
Also for the BS finishing combo. Head Splitter + Disembowel = profit. Unless you're fighting an elite boss or higher, on single targets this should be MORE than enough. Or you may have slotted horribly.
Typically I go: Build up > Charge mob > Head Splitter (target dies) > Disembowel (target dies) > Hack + Slice remaining > everything is recharged > repeat as needed.
This is apply sword to face as needed tactics. It ain't rocket surgery.
Haha, some of the more extremes may actually welcome it!
