My Fire/Fire experience so far.

WOW!

Ok, now that we are past that. I have tried a few different Doms, but they never really clicked for me. I'm am the type of player that likes options, and this combo is great for me. Only level 18 ATM and I am starting to actually wonder if this is "my" AT. I have a 50 tank, 47 MM and 41 Scrapper (SR/Claws is one of those perfect combos) and this character may just feel the best. It also feels like a great support AT in a way, once the team gets to a major enemy and I Dominate it, it is like the best debuff ever since no one is getting hit. I realize that I haven't faced the toughest of foes yet, but so far it is too fun.

I am wondering if any Fire vets have any tips, primary or secondary? Right now the build is very Melee-ish, so I plan on picking up Incinerate when I can fit it in.

Also any tips on the Epic pools, I actually think all 4 look strong (Hero side, I have never really cared much for the Villain ones except for my MM), Fire just doesn't look like a clear cut winner to me, but I am leaning towards it.

I picked up Mace Mastery Epic Pool in order to get Scorpion Shield and Personal Force Field. This has made me get Permadom plus softcapped S/L. I didn't really feel like I needed more fire attacks...

.
I took incinerate, it is very high damage. open with it so the dot has time to work.

Slot Char for damage and it makes an awesome opener against a single target.

I'm still on the fence about combust. I hear that if you use herotracker it ends up being a massive source of damage. But it looks weak when I use it. Still, things die so I guess it's working hehe.

Right now I am planning on Combustion. I picked up Embrace of Fire, that would be a great 10 second power, but it is 30 which is a 2 way street of awesome. For now I am envisioning an AoE hold, immob, or stun, followed by Embrace and maybe 2 Combustions with Hot Feet running.

Combustion is good, Incinerate is great. I'd pick both if I had a melee /fire dom, and forget about slotting flares which does less damage than char.

I have an earth/fire so I skipped combustion and incinerate. Actually I had Incinerate but it was bothersome to use it since earth/ is purely ranged and it was bothersome to get in melee just to use Incin. The cool thing about fire is that you can make it all range or a mix of melee/range depending on your primary. On a melee primary like fire/ or ice/, I'd say Incinerate is a must.

I love the fire epic since it gives you more AoE but on a fire/fire if you pick combustion and fire breath you may not feel the need.

This is all solid advice, and I second it. =)
