FF or Son with Robots.
I haven't tried it yet but I don't like the look of Sonic. The only debuffs are -res which won't help you very often. Once Liquefy arrives at 38 things will change but I'm not sure I'd want to take the journey to get there.
Sonic buffs on top of bots defense sounds good, but you will be micromanaging the pet with sonic dispersion to stay in range. Bots kb tends to push things back, and if you manage it, then it will work out, but you still have to wait to get in debuff range. This also spreads out your pets from under sonic dispersion.

HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.
As good (or not) as having stacking buffs is, I just couldn't handle it.
If you go traps, you get a FF which hovers by your and is pretty solid. Since all robots are ranged, usually, they will get the benefits of multi FF without you having to do anything except activate one power.
I have one of every different mastermind planned now that I can have them (easily) blueside. I was originally going Robot/FF because of stacking the FF's with tier-2 pets FF's. Stacked defense is usually considered the best. However, there is no debuffs with FF. I know stacking Son resist bubbles with FF bubbles from the pets is not the most effective, but with the debuffs that Sonic brings, it might be pretty feasible. Anyone with any thoughts?
