A couple thoughts to improve the game.
If you happen to have any server transfer tokens, you can use that to find out fairly quickly if you have characters somewhere. Roll someone, start the transfer, cancel it when y ou get to the screen telling you how many free slots you have.
Of course, if you don't, I wouldn't spend money/points to find out, so #1 would work - perhaps make it an on-screen checkbox ("Show number of characters on server") if people are worried about clutter.
If I am doing something wrong with number 2 please I will gladly take suggestions, but because the forward cone AOE abilities require a target I find my char often turning to face just that one and hitting ONLY that one

I find with cones, it's often useful to take a jump backwards before activating it, to get maximum spread. Learning how to know which target to pick takes some practice, too, and is dependent on exactly what size cone you're using.
For example, my /Dark/Soul Mastermind uses Fearsome Stare, Soul Tentacles, and Night Fall all the time. NF is 60ft range, 20 degree cone, while ST is 40ft 25 degree, and FS has some range enhancement, putting it up to 81.2ft range, 30 degrees. If I want to use the three in succession, I usually FS, hop forward, NS, hop forward, ST. That works for the range increments; knowing how to align the attacks for the arcs is purely practice.
Targeting an enemy further back in the group often does help for targeting, though.

1: An icon on the server lists to tell you you have toons on that server, I came back to COH after a couple years, and while yes there arent that many servers, it was still an annoyance to go realm by realm trying to find old toons. A simple star, or number to ID that there are chars on a realm would be nice.
2: Make directional cone AOE abilities not require a target...please... I have a couple chars with these kinds of abilities, but even with a swarm of enemies on me, it still only tends to hit 1.
Thanks for reading, sorry if these have been suggested before.
