Paragon Points Calculation and Time Cards?

So I've been away from the game for a while, but decided to resub for a bit before Freedom to get some points. I did so in August, which I had understood to mean I would only get 400 points (for one month). Even if it were loosely translated to mean 800 points (August and September) that doesn't explain how I ended up with 1200 points. The only thing I can think of is that I used two 60 day time cards to subscribe... but of course that's 4 months, so that math doesn't add up. Basically I'm confused how I came to have more than 400 points.

I don't think anyone's really sure why, but we all seem to have gotten more points than we thought we would. It's a mystery no one's in a hurry to solve.

Issue 16 made me feel like this.

I'm not in a particular hurry either, I was just wondering if it was somehow because time cards had their time calculated differently or something.

Speaking of time cards... can we still sub with them? I haven't found evidence to the contrary...

I figured that the 1750 I got was for three months of 400 points plus one month of 550 points, but I don't know where that extra month came from. I'm guessing that because I primarily use time cards to renew subscription, I got the points up-front. Now I need to see if I'm missing any Reward Points.
