Rough rollouts are a pain for both the customers and developers. What a lot of people don't know is that it's also torment for people who stand between them, like community reps, network technicians, and everyone else involved even tangentially in the rollout process.

Zwillinger broadcasted via his UStream for about 12 hours yesterday. My throat would be so sore I couldn't talk.

I imagine that a LOT of folks at NCSoft had at least one if not two sleepless nights as they worked through the rollout and subsequent troubleshooting.

Having been through that myself, I would like to give you guys a very serious 'Thank You'.

Word. Not the smoothest launch, obviously, but Zwill was a trooper. And I thank everyone else at NCSoft for actually getting the servers online. GL with the Paragon Store maintenance today so we can all go shopping

Being part of an Upgrade team myself... I too feel the pain, the lack of rest and the unappreciativeness (Yeah, a Don King word) of the hard work that is put into upgrading a system. But mind you I appreciate everything you do the give me an avenue to relieve my stress…. Thank you!

It's no fun pulling long hours. This may be a game to us, but it's work to them.

Well - it was yesterday

Nice one!

72 hours. Yikes.
Day off? Sounds more like vacation time is in order.

I work nightshift 11pm to 7am central. I saw numerous reds on that whole time.
Clockwork01, Z, mod13, Synapse and a few more kept coming and going.

Troopers indeed.
