db/wp/bod scrap vs brute comparison...
I have a DB/WP Brute and like it a lot, but I always had this nagging feeling that the long animations were dragging it down on Fury. It does have great survivability, though. A Scrapper might be better, depending on your attack chain and how much survivability you're willing and able to buy.

influence comes generally easy, and I would have time to make a decent build. my bs/sd/bod is lil over 2 billion. ugh that took nearly a year. 3 builds later and I love her. I would need to read a guide about WP, learning to IO the layered def/res/hp/regen of WP could be quite mind boggleing on which I should go for first. I would imagine def/HP/regen/recharge/acc.
up the defense obvious, up the HP up the regen with one stone, up the regen to. want recharge. Prolly go hasten with about 5 LotG global recharges.
I figure with stamina/ quick recovery/ and Phys perfection (if scrapper), would be enough for endurance recovery.
I tryed and tryed WP on tankers and really don't like the feel, but on a brute or scrap I can learn to love it cuz WP isn't main concern, cranking out DPS is.
Only reason I thinking brute is cuz I have a few scraps, and I only have one brute which is electric/sd/bod which is very nice, but how scraps SC and LR out classes brutes makes me wanna slap the toon. but that brute tares stuff up like crazy.
I figure having another brute would be a change of pace, but if I got annoyed with long animations and heals with regen, then I could imagine the same frustration with fury bar as u say. That would drive me ape ****!

Dual Blades is way better on a Scrapper than a Brute. The set is heavily dependent on the +damage from Blinding Feint and that is basically worthless on a Brute's low base damage.

I24 Proc Chance = (Enhanced Recharge + Activation Time) * (Current PPM * 1.25) / 60*(1 + .75*(.15*Radius - 0.011*Radius*(360-Arc)/30)) Single Target Radius = 0. AoE Non-Cone Arc = 360.
I find DB/WP to be one of those easy cut answers to...which do you prefere better DPS or better Survival.
The Brute will be more survivalable. The Scrapper will dish out more damage. All build aspects being the same, that's the real difference!

I have a concept for a "warrior's mark" toon. Basically a natural warrior. Each suit would have influence from different cultures. For exzample: Roman, Asian (samurai/ninja), medievil, tech. I roled a kat/invun scrap to about mid 30's but didn't really like the feel. I was thinking WP cuz it is a toggle and forget set that would allow me to focus in on damage, damage and more damage.
DB is pretty great at DPS. I am not sure whether I should role a brute or scrap for this. Either AT would be going both red and blue side for badges, then finally settle back into the blue side.
I know brute WP may be over all more durable (even though scrapper base regen in WP's aura is higher), the higher max res/hp would be good. I know the high end DPS would possibly be better as a brute with fury bar, however that takes a spawn to achieve.
Would the unrestrained raw power of the scrap primary close the gap in durability department?
Not looking for a long drug out debate, just looking at what would be the better AT for the concept of tough natural warrior. Much thanks.
