How do you come up with your character (name, look, background, etc.) ?

I did have one notable character who was built around her name. Imitation. I saw the name as part of a book title, it was free and I snagged it. Ten minutes later, I had the character, the costume and a basic background. If only it was always so easy. |
Maybe i have to treat my subconscious better... I never do call any more...
