Pull the build into mids and just 6 slot tough.
Do a search in MID for set bonuses and you will see your limited in S/L resistance choices.
What you will find is no matter how you cut it your talking about 38% S/L resistance and that is 6 slotting tough. 1 slot gives you about 32% S/L resistance.
Personally not sounding callus, which really is not my intention.
But if your discussing optimum build based on your budget. Who cares what a team likes. Your defense capped and can handle certain mobs on a 4/8 setting solo. Again personally if some guy or gal on my team is running SOs on a concept build or theme build I wouldn't care less, because today in anything beyond incarnate missions you don't need 8 players. I've done ITF with 5 players and my Triage beacon was the healer.
So I am happy to have that RP or crazy concept build on the team but I surely do not want hear them complain how much they are dying because they barely can handle a 0/4 setting.
I think team wise you are more then considerate with your build.
If more players created builds to handle higher settings then a full team of these types of players would clearly have an easier time against highest settings.
If anything skip the resistance, eat a few orange inspirations and pick up aid other and aid self. Heck now you can even heal someone. What more could someone want now. You give them defenses you can tank and you can heal. OMG !! YOUR A GOD !!!
Okay I'm a bit over the top but you get my point.
I have a defense cap bane build with no pet which has a health regeneration of 265%. Is your around that ? Maybe your regeneration is might be too low.
Whats the recharge on your pets ? I'm assuming Call reinforcements which is a 900 second recharge. Even at a decent recharge on your build I will say your at 300 seconds. That is 5 minutes assuming the pets survive the full 4 minutes. I had those pets and unless your slotting for Barrier incarnate to boost their defenses whats the point ? They are not glass cannons but still fragile enough to get dead or 1/2 dead from a AV or EB AOE attack.
They are NOT bad I just don't think they are key to the build maybe.
Did you get defense cap via slotting or did you incorporate Cloaking Device Suppression into your build ?
Again there are some variables that could be addressed before you just go respecing just for S/L resistance.
Post the build and lets see if we can look for some other weaknesses.

I came up with this build, I think I pretty much covered everything even if regen should be a bit higher. No travel power needed since I plan to just take hoverboard and I like too much two layer of assault.

This is my build there are some slight differences. My regen is 105% higher then yours and you do 20% more damage due to assault. I have super speed with stealth IO. I have it just to increase my -perception towards stealth aware mobs. EG Rikti Drones and sniper type mobs.
I would suggest just remove SS and pick up Assault. Remove 1 IO slot in Placate and place it in health with the Miracle unique. This way your regen is 105% higher and you have what you want. I know bile spray and such might not be in your concept, but bile and artic breath do nice damage. Someone mentioned in a post and I tested it out.. It really nice. check it out on test if anything.
I also noticed which is not the end of the world, but just mentioning your just short on AOE positional with 44.34..

Seperate comment to hover board. I'm not able to get into beta due to mac client problems.
But I would imagine hover board would require some flight power like hover or fly. Again just talking out of backside as I don't know. So you might need to have one slot open somewhere, I would say placate if anything

I am really torn. My bane really likes having double layers of assault and maneuvers, and teams love him too. But but...I'd really like to have a bit more S/L res for those ankward moments where an elite boss or such get a lucky streak laughing at my capped positional def.
Problem is, build is really tight. I could drop the spiders (but I would miss em) and the final decision would be:
1. Pool assault and maneuvers (2 powers)
2. Fighting pool (3 powers, hate that stupid boxing prereq)
Option one is what I use and love, option 2 I never tried but those resist are so yummi, tough tanker level resist is very tempting.
A little advice, please.
