Sell Alchemical Silvers on AE

I know you can roll for them, but you can't just select an Alchemical Silver or any common salvage. I would like to see this changed.

There are 19k bids on Alch Silvers! That's insane! I want to fill them all! But I can't possibly do it without being able to buy only Alch Silvers with my tickets! And it gives players a realistically priced alternative to the market. Low and mid level common salvage should be reasonably priced. Overinflated low and mid level salvage affects a noob's access to crafting common IO's.

I'm not trying to make money from filling Alch Silver orders, but I want to make the game more user-friendly for the noob who has no connections.

They had it like that in beta. I believe they were concerned about market effects... which your own post kind of points to. *cough*

That said, rolling for them usually nets a ton of saleable salvage (and quite a few Silvers.) They're not rare in the results.

Save them, sell what you don't need, use the proceeds to buy more.

As far as pricing on the market? Blame your fellow players. Fortunately there are two alternatives - playing in range for the salvage and, as mentioned in your own post, AE.

Roll the appropriate tier (mid arcane) and dump whatever comes out on the market. On average its 6 rolls to get a specific piece, so thats 5 'surplus' commons going to the market

Actually having the ability to select commons, would be likely to reduce salvage going to the market as people would only choose what they need to get, and not get the others.

Concerned about market effects? Like, "Oh no! The price of Alchemical Silvers will drop to under a thousand! We CAN'T have that!" The market effects would be positive or realistic.

There are players and SG's that really want to make the game more accessible to the poor in infl. After filling Alch Silvers, I'd move on to fill every Luck Charm order, and then every other overinflated low or mid level common salvage. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would do it. There are many, many marketeer haters who would fill Alch Silver orders just to break the backbone of the scums driving the prices up! Not that I'm one of them. lol. I just want to see realistic prices on common salvage for the poor.

"Break the backbone of the scum driving the prices up?"

Would that be the people *bidding* 15-20-200k for them when I list them for 5?
Or the people seeing that who decide that if that's what the market wants, that's what they'll list them at?

And once you fill "all" the alchemical silver orders, are you going to run AE missions daily to continue dumping them in? Once you move on, the prices will go up again - *if* that's the way the market itself drives them.

Again - you're *already* taking care of "not wanting to pay those prices" by doing the same thing everyone else can do - play the game and/or play AE and roll for the salvage. Prices don't tend to concern me on the market, not because I'm rich (few of my characters are, very, very few - as in, single digits out of 300-ish characters - have over 150m, none are at 500m) but because if I need that salvage, I burn AE tickets. And sell what I don't need.

What price would you put direct buying commons at in tickets ? (bear in mind a roll is 8)

Then For accuracy you need a Sci theory (tech), for a debuff, you actually need 2 runes (arcane), for a run speed an improvised cybernetic (tech)

As a thought exercise, how many silvers on average are generated when rolling for TWO runes ?

Now if you direct buy those three at your price, how many arcane salvage could you have rolled to get the three you 'needed'.

Where do the surplus end up ?
On the market, increasing supply and driving down prices.

Want to tank the price on common stuff, random roll and place stacks of 10 when you get them at low listing price.

Through rolls the ticket cap would allow you to generated 1249 common salvage

How many common salvage can you generate with you proposed pricing ?

See how random rolls actually can be said to increase the supply ?
