Which is more solo-friendly, /Therm or /Pain?

So, I've played almost every single /Buff powerset that exists in the game, across many ATs. I'm trying to avoid duplication as much as possible. (I just finally gave in and created a second /Kin).

Unfortunately, I have a difficult time finding teams; also I kind of enjoy being solo.

I'd like to try out Dual Pistols. But I'm also trying to avoid duplication (otherwise I'd just probably grab Radiation, which I've had fun with on my Grav/Rad). And it looks like both /Therm and /Pain have tons of ally-target powers (6 on therm, 5 on pain domination).

So... given that circumstances are likely to force me into soloing... which is a "better" choice?

Id go Dark Miasma for solo on a Corr anytime (at least if you want to be able to solo before you get soft caped SLranged). If you have to chose between Pain and Therm Id probably go Pain but yeah, both are impressive team sets are rather weak soloer.

Of the two I'd say Pain hands down. You get the same self heal but also a heal over time toggle. You can grant yourself damage resistance, while Thermal's is ally only.

They get similar -res, which is the main debuff that will matter when solo. Thermal wins on debuffs overall, but none that will likely matter unless you plan to solo AVs. Pain gets +damage in addition to -res, so I'd say for solo Pain wins in just about every way.
