Elec Procs

So after looking a bit through the dom boards and whatnot, I'm curious about specific procs and how they work in Electric Control's powers:

1) Presumably, a proc in Jolting Chain (Force Feedback/Devastation hold) only works on the first target and not the jumps, correct? The same question also applies to Synaptic Overload and Contagious Confusion.

2) Conductive Aura and its procs: Do they apply to the user, the enemy, or both? If I drop a Performance Shifter chance for End in there, do I gain end periodically? What about an Energy Manipulator chance to stun?

3) Static Field: How does the Chance for Placate and Chance to Heal work? One check every ten seconds per enemy?

Thanks!

1. Damge procs I know with certainty can trigger on every jump. I would expect it to be the same for procs in other jumping powers, as long as the proc is supposed to act on enemies. (The Entropic Chaos proc definitely does not work, alas.)

2. Depends on who they're supposed to affect, basically. Performance Shifter proc gives a chance for you to get end, Energy Manipulator has a chance to stun enemies. There's nothing unusual about Conductive Aura in this regard. Of course, since it's a toggle, both of those only have a chance to fire once every ten seconds.

3. Chance to heal is useless in this power. The only chance for it to heal *you* is once when you cast the power. From then on, the only thing it can heal is the pseudopet created by Static Field, which is untargetable and indestructible anyway, so heals have no meaning in relation to it.

As for the Chance for Placate proc, I've heard this is bugged, but I'm not sure of the details.

1. Any proc that affects you (chance to heal) will only trigger on the initial target. Any proc that affects your enemies (chance to hold or dmg) will have a chance to trigger on each jump.

2. Perf Shifter proc gives your enemies endurance. Tested this, and yes, it sucks.

3. Placate proc does not work for the same reason as chance to heal proc. Your Static Field becomes a pseudopet, so if it did proc, enemies could not attack your Static Field, which they can't attack anyway.

This was what I was curious about, thanks both of you!

It what? o.O;;;

That just seems bizarre compared to anything else I've heard of in any similar power...

Yeah, the chance for +End proc does this in quite a few powers. (Transference is one that comes to mind)
