New Peacebringer

I finally got my heroside Epics unlocked (I don't think I'll ever get there villainside, it's so dreary there.) I'd played with someone who had a Peacebringer and it looked like a lot of fun. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Surprisingly I even got the name Skywriter for her. With all the white trails behind as you fly around, it seemed to fit. I figured someone would have snagged it before. It seems so obvious!

I'm only at levle 10 with her but I already think she's going to be my main for a while. (She seems lucky, too. Already got a knockback protection recipe just fighting.) But looking at what's coming, this looks like it's going to be a bit tricky to get built up. I don't really want "A build" but are there good guides to start with that are pretty recent? And is staying Human and Nova reasonable or am I going to be gimped without the tank form? I played a blaster and a defender mostly before, so it looks like it would be most like what I'm used to.

There haven't been many sweeping changes to Kheldians above and beyond the changes that have affected everyone like inherent Fitness (which does work in the forms now), so most of the guides stickied are still very much applicable, so I would start there.

As for whether or not you can play a viable Human/Nova build, the answer is yes. Obviously you give up some things by skipping Dwarf, most notably mez protection (other than Light Form), but a Human/Nova build tends to play very offensively and relieves the slot crunch enough to slot your attacks very well.

Your PB is not going to outdamage your blaster, but it is going to significantly outdamage your defender while being considerably safer than your blaster, so I think you'll find it's an enjoyable new experience. Welcome to the AT!

You have a few directions you can try to go. If you go tri-form, definitely focus on one form at a time, or your slots will be spread too thin for you to do well. With mine, I focused on Nova, then Dwarf, and then Human (though I dropped slots in the heals and build up when I could).

However, you can do okay with a dual form or even all human approach. It's kind of how much you like each form: Dwarf is the tank form, Nova Blaster, Human the Scrapper (though you'll want to pack break frees for now, and even after you pick up Dwarf form).

Thanks. I think I'll be OK with slots in a bit with my biform.

Also, I found global channels, including one for Kheldians, but it looks like nobody uses it. Is it actually that empty or am I just missing everyone?

You didn't mention what server you play on, but I recommend you use that servers main global channels, as specific AT channels don't seem to get much love. Also, if you're on Protector, we happen to run all Kheldian TF's every Friday, if that's something you'd be interested in.
