I missed a few issues since i last played and i wanna get back into scrapping.
I made a new electric/shield defence scrapper cause i like the idea of having 2 teleport nukes. is this still a good combo? has their been any nerfs to this build?
Looking for a decent build to follow if anyone got one, ive been out of the loop for a bit.

Yes it's still a very good combo. The ST damage is somewhat lacking, but can be made pretty respectable. The AoE damage is amazing though. And the teleport nukes just make you feel very powerful.

I may as well copy my other post from a couple days ago since this is almost the exact same question.

However, long-duration pulls of more than 16 enemies (like in ambush farming maps) tends to make Elec/SD's main weakness stand out. It lacks sustainable damage.

If you are the type of person who likes to fire a big cannon every 30 seconds, Elec/SD is for you. If you prefer napalm that burns anything it touches, Fire/SD is for you. If you prefer focusing on one target with attacks focused like a laser, DM/SD fits that style.

I know we may be looking at scrappers here, so i won't mention brute builds, but would a KM/fire be a good ambush farming? Power Siphon, Fire Embrace, and burst/burn/damage aura seems like a pretty nice combo, and the -dmg (especially in burst) will keep you alive when inspirations aren't dropping like rain..

I PL'd a Fire/SD and an Elec/SD both to 38. I've played both to 45 since then on normal PVE fare, teamed and solo.

Elec/SD is a fantastic team build, and he does fine solo. But as has been mentioned, your ST attacks are rather lacking. If you go with the Fire epic, you get more AOE goodness, although for thematic reasons I chose to the Mu pool. He's a blast to play...just takes a little bit longer on bosses than I'm accustomed.

The Fire/SD is a little better solo and the DOT really helps if you want to set him up for farming purposes.

Really, you can't go wrong with either. Do a search for Fury Flechette's thread on various builds for both types of builds. I chose the "moderately expensive" builds for both (modified since these builds were posted before Fitness was inherent) and have been very pleased with the results. Both can be pretty much fully tricked out by lvl 40 with IO sets.
