how do carrion creepers work?

I have been enjoying my new plant/kin/stone on virtue and creepers seem to behave differently than anything else I have experienced in game. I assumed that they would be a targeted patch similar to say tar patch. But creepers seem to move from group to group with you. I even had them pop up and agro a group before I was within range of that group to see me. Can somome please explain what the rules for how this power performs.

Also, do they behave like pets in that their damage boosts are independant of mine or do they do damage based on what my damage boost is? Being kinetics I want to know if I should lay them down once I cap my own damage or should I lay creepers then hit fulcrum shift. Thanks in advance!

Carrion Creepers is rather unique- it spawns a mobile pseudo-pet, which every once in a while pops out a fresh set of vines (I'm not certain of the timing).

I believe (although I'm not certain) that their damage boost is independent of yours, so you should pop fulcrum shift after you spawn the vines (I play a Plant/Storm, so I can't test that too easily >.>).

My limited understanding is that Creepers is a Pseudopet (who follows you, but fairly slowly and invisibly). The Pseudopet then casts other pseudopets who create the vines you see. The secondary pets are the ones who do damage and cast the Immob and knockbacks.

I believe your Fulcrum Shift cast before casting the power will only affect the first pseudopet, who does not do damage. Fulcrum Shift must be cast either just before or just after the second pseudopets to have an effect on the damage, but since you can't see or control the casting of the second pseudopets, that's kind of hard to judge.

Does anyone know if the damage shown in mids is representative of what one creeper vine will do if it is in combat for a full duration or some sort of average for some made up number of average vines?
