Suggestion for Guides on the Forums

That would have to be someone on the OCR team. And they have been updated over the years.
I'm just not sure when the last time anyone on the OCR team worried about updates.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Yeah, the most recent I saw on a Guide on Cuppa's guide sticky was from i15 or something.

I'm not sure that I am understanding which Guides youare a talking about?
But besides that, aren't all the guides Player-written? If one particular subject hasn't been updated, that means none of the players has stepped up to update it.

In each of the AT specific forums, there is a stickied "Guide and FAQ" for that AT that Cuppa originally started the threads for on the old forums. The lone exception is the SOA, but it does have a stickied thread created by Ex Libris on the new forums.
I can't recall who it was of the OCR team that players used to contact with updates to the First Post in the thread, but it was players that maintained the guides and created the updated Guide and FAQ information for the first post.
I was thinking that each AT had someone specific that was working on keeping the guides for that AT organized and keeping the sticky information updated, but it's possible that they lost interest in doing that, don't play anymore, or simply aren't sure who to contact anymore.

For example - the Guides thread stickied at the top of the Blaster forum was indeed started by CuppaJo when she was here. And yes, she did move on some time ago.
But players have continued to add to the thread since then, and the last Guides added to it were posted in 2011, not 2009.
I also checked the Brute forum and found recent posts in that forums stickied Guide thread as well.
So what are you suggesting exactly - that Zwill or someone unsticky those threads and start brand new ones? To what purpose?

Guides are compiled by players. If something needs to be updated, someone needs to do it and the PM a mod to change the top post of the thread.

But the thread is lengthy and players continue to update by adding Guides by posting in the thread - and the most recent guides were added in March 2011 (a Psi/MM by Ordius & a new Elec/Elec/Elec Blaptroller by Phantasm).
If someone wants their Guide added to the first post, ZM is correct about how that happens (and I trust ZM as the guru of Guides).
Thank you clearing up what you were asking, though.

Oh I see where I went wrong. The first post says not to post guides in the sticky, so I assumed people weren't posting guides in the sticky. I should of known people wouldn't listen. :P Thanks though.

I think that it would be awesome if someone took over CuppaJo's "Guides" stickies on the archetype forums. They are all a little outdated, and I think it would be lovely if some of the more recent ones could get on there now. :P
Edit: To specify, Under each of the AT's forums, there is a stickied post by CuppaJo that has a collection of guides for the AT's powersets. They haven't been updated since late 2009.
