What is a good epic power pool for holds on a spines/fa scrap?
Well, immobilizes would do the trick.
As a scrapper, your choices are meager. Tenebrous Tentacles from dark mastery is the only AoE Immobilize available for scrappers.
I personally find Energy Torrent synergizes well with Spines. Can pop an FF Proc in there for a good chance that it will proc. It neuters an alpha for you, and is around the same cone as Throw Spoons.
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.
Dark Mastery's Petrifying Gaze is complete crap compared to Fire Mastery's Char.
Soul Storm from Soul Mastery wins hands down as the Crowd Pleaser though, if you're talking Holds, instead of Immobilizes.

Okay, so you can't rely on crits, but FBall has nice recharge to compensate for it's less than impressive dmg. When it Crits, it's lovely.
I've not tried nrg torrent. It's a KD not a KB, right?
Also, you're Spines.. Who cares if they run - you have at least 2 ranged attacks and two more that might as well be ranged.
I recently hit 50 on my scrap and im wondering what a good hold would be so when I use burn the baddies dont run everywhere any suggestions?
