Definitely very impressive ranged defense, even after you half what stealth is providing to account for actual defense while attacking.

My only quibbles are:

(1) Fistful of arrows could use more ranged in it. You basically have 1/2 of a ranged enhancer in it, increasing its range to 46.4. This is still going to be pretty frustrating for an "all ranged" hoverblaster build. Another lvl 50 IOs worth of range would bring it to 56.5, which would be significantly less awkward in my opinion and let you cover more area. Optimally, I like to stick enough ranged in fistful so that it can easily cover almost the area on the ground that an oil slick would make, and the greater coverage also has better synergy with disruption and rain of arrows.

(2) Oil slick has too little recharge. Again (discounting hasten and global bonuses) it is only slotted for 1/2 of a recharge. Life is dramatically so much better with oil slick that I don't know why you are gimping it so much. Add at least another lvl 50 IO to it I think.

(3) You can take the extra slots from the endrdx slots for disruption and acid, I think. I don't find TA/A to be terribly endurance intensive, unless of course you have just done an EMP arrow.

Overall, very nice.

Flash Arrow is Auto Hit in PVE you don't need the Accuracy enhancers in it.

Here are a couple of excellent guides. They haven't been updated in a while but the info is still excellent.

Luminara's - The Trick Arrow Enchiridion

Luminara's - The Archery Codex

I'll post one of my builds tonight for you when I get back home from work.

A few things, not in any particular order.

Your putting a stealth IO in hover. It really will not offer you any help. Super speed with a Stealth IO will offer you full stealth benefit vs mobs. So you can zip around a mission without being noticed unless you run by high perception mobs. EG Snipers and Rikti drones. So I would swap out fly and pick up super speed and just keep hover.

Your using stealth to obtain your defense cap number but you forgot that it is suppressed so your only getting 2.5% and not 5%.

One thing I learned from messing around with my AR Device Blaster is you need some decent regeneration in an attempt to get back some hit points lost between the hits that sneak in. So I 6 slot Numina in my health. It offers a health bonus regeneration bonus, a recovery boost as well and on top it offers range defense bonus.

The next thing you want to go for is recharge to get Oil Slick up as much as possible. There is only so much recharge your going to be able to get without dipping into your defense bonus sets. So you will need incarnates to help you out.

This is what I am building atm. Should be finished tonight to test out. When I work builds up I try build for highest possible setting. I know with my Range Capped Blaster builds which are similarly slotted for recovery and regeneration I can handle 4/8 settings. This should have incarnates on so you can see Oil Slick is down to 48 second recharge.

Just make sure you turn off Incarnates to get some real numbers otherwise your recovery will be off the charts.

Best bet would be to pull them up side by side and compare take what you like and scrap the rest.

I gave up on sets for it with my TA/Arch and slotted it with the Touch of Lady Grey proc, the Dmg/Rech IO from each of the Air Burst, Detonation, and Positron's Blast sets, the Dmg/Slow from Tempered Readiness, and a common Rech IO.with a tier-3 Spiritual in my Alpha slot, that gets me 117% recharge on it.

I kind of miss the second of the ways the Touch of Lady Grey proc was bugged during the beta for inventions... Originally, the 'chance for negative damage' really was -- when it went off, it did a negative amount of damage to the target, healing them. When the devs fixed that, it was bugged the other direction, so that when it went off, it did a huge multiple of the target's HP -- my nickname for the IO was 'Touch of Lady Grey: Chance to One-Shot'; I had a Scrapper with this in the beta, and I took him out to test it and got lucky with the proc, literally one-shotting Jurassik, doing "4.28011e+006" points of damage.

Here ya go. 37.9% ranged defense without PBU. You don't really need more since the hit debuff in flash arrow is Auto Hit and irresistable. It adds an effective defense value of 8.83 which gives you an effective 46.73 for 60 seconds.

Here are a couple of excellent guides. They haven't been updated in a while but the info is still excellent.

Luminara's - The Trick Arrow Enchiridion

Luminara's - The Archery Codex

I'll post one of my builds tonight for you when I get back home from work.
I could have swore I asked about this a few weeks back and I was told that the -Perception was Autohit in PVE but the -ToHit required an accuracy check?

Or am I thinking of Smoke Grenade?

After reading this thread (I used to not keep track of what's going on in the forums), I have learned the following:

1) I need to bite the bullet and switch Combat Jumping with Unbounded Leap:Stealth out for Super Speed.

b) I need to stop waiting until level 47 to slot Enhancement Sets.

iii) I really need to learn how to use Mids.

Has ATG finished? I think that maybe a more revised build is not a bad idea taking in further advice and also even then additional slots can be achieved from further changes. I looked at the latest it revision and thought atleast 3 slots could be plucked out of nowhere so to speak and added elsewhere.

This is the build I ended up implementing. Changed fist full for explosive, to keep the range consistent. Picked up super speed instead of stealth so I could keep higher speed in hover while stealthed. Also picked up combat jumping to boost the defense a bit and be a LotG Mule.

BTW I prefer having the stealth IO in hover.

Late to the game, but here is my non-purple build. It has soft-capped ranged and smashing/lethal, which handles most situations. I think you might as well take both of fistful and explosive, since AOEs are what a TA/A is about. I often take entangled instead of flash but ended out with flash this time around. Poison gas arrow has never been a biggie for me--there is only so much of a buff cycle you want to go through before attacking, and my build has plenty of defense. I can certainly understand if people like it though. To be honest, my view of it is still probably colored by how sucky it was pre-buff several years ago. Ignore the order powers were chosen in...the character has been a 50 for many years now and I don't even recall whatever obsolete original leveling build I might have used.

Edit: Should probably have anti-kb in fly since fly speed already maxed but have not gotten around to replacing things.

I am in the middle of finishing getting several T4s in incarnate. I accidentally went with the Spiritual alpha instead of Musculature alpha. So my Oil slick is at 43 instead of 48 seconds but less damage. I might eventually rework the alpha once the other T4s are done. I went with Longbow for the nullifier. I'm hoping he will drop a debuff to stack with mine. I went with reactive for the extra fire damage.

I tested it against the fire crey farm and another farm mish in a ship listed as 474030 I think. the contact is a pirate. I like that a bit better because of the much higher ceiling. Higher ceiling means less attacks because I'm out of range of fire breath. I can do them at 4/8 setting and for ticket reasons I have to say I think I do it faster with this toon them my AR Device or my Traps AR defender. The last 2 levels I actually farmed myself in that mish from 48 to 50.

I have done some 4/8 regular missions and Tip missions with no issues. Again solo mobs have no choice but to come back to you. Oil Slick recharges up fast enough for me not to complain and the debuffs are noticeable.

I just don't get the issues I have read in the past from some players.

I think one of the big issues is many players build for a theme or concept instead of trying to build a theme or concept around a build.

I did look at this build and thought it okay way back when ya posted it but the only thing, not too important is perhaps ya don't need any flight speed in fly, may be in swift for hovers sake but if not then not even in swift.

He will honor his words; he will definitely carry out his actions. What he promises he will fulfill. He does not care about his bodily self, putting his life and death aside to come forward for another's troubled besiegement. He does not boast about his ability, or shamelessly extol his own virtues. - Sima Qian.

The second End slot in Assault might do more for you in Acid Arrow.

Incarnate builds makes everything easier for everyone. I didn't get the issues in the main neither but certain changes have been good even though a lot of them didn't come from players ideas but instead probably from players expressed experiences.

Paragonwiki is your friend.

It appears the Nullifier does not have any debuffs, though I've heard good tings from the Cataphract's -regen.
