Playing Protector Style

Sorry you felt targeted by that BW.

It wasn't aimed at you, even if you feel it "fits" and despite the unfortunate placement. Yes, your comments were in my mind as I replied since they were the last ones I read, but I was responding in a generic manner with my own impressions.

You're 100% entitled to your opinion, as I am to mine. I wasn't belittling that. Enjoy the game as you see fit.

Super Flu, don't feel like you started something - you didn't.

I thought it was kind of cool that you noticed that, and as you see, you're not alone.

Now Stale, you know we have a perfectly healthy (okay, slightly demented) roleplaying community here on Protector...and yes, we PvP in character. 'Cause we're cool like that. B)

I will admit I don't play on other servers. I've tried. I tried Virtue back when people were telling me there was no rp on Protector. It was scary. I didn't like it. So I corralled a few Virtue folks and lured them back to Protector with me. I think they like not being terrified to go to Pocket D-and 'scaring the wildlife' is always fun (and impossible on Virtue unless you get REALLY lucky).

When CoH: Freedom and the free character transfers come out, however, I may transfer some of my higher-level toons that I rarely play to other servers just for the heck of it. I wouldn't mind having the occasional option of jumping over to another server to help out someone from the N P C channel or meeting some of the characters my friends have made on other servers.

But I'm a homebody at heart and Protector is my home. Other servers? Scary places, man. Scary places.

City of Heroes taught me that when the world is burning, you don't just stand by and watch, you grab a fire extinguisher and do whatever you can to stop it-even if it's not much at all. Sign the petition to keep City of Heroes alive HERE.
