Quick Question: Stealth IO in Nova?

Will it work?

What would you plan to stack it with to get "full invisiblity" (i.e. so that bosses couldn't see you)? A friend with a stealth aura like Steamy Mist maybe?

"Striving for the impossible" doesn't mean "toiling in vain". It means growth. It means improvement in the direction of your ideals. Not futility.

If I had to guess, it'd be: "Fly over their heads." He never mentioned that he'd be stacking anything.

Outside of team help, there isn't anything you can stack with that IO in Nova to get invisibility.

I tend to find that leads to "lying down under their feet" for the times when you really care about having stealth (ex: getting to the tree room in the STF).

In other situations "fly over their heads" often works just fine on its own without the need for an IO.

There have been plenty of times I've used "not invisible stealth" to great effect. Even getting to the Tree Room of the STF, you can do it without invisibility. I know I have.

I've got no problem believing that.

On the other hand I've also been killed on fully invisible characters because one of my partially-invisible teammates decided to try "stealthing" past a mob, aggro'd them and managed to get their AoE splash damage all over me.

It's at least something to be aware of.

Well, another thing to remember is that even one ounce of AoE splash on you will suppress all of your stealth, opening you up to all the wrath of the spawn.

This is one of my pet peeves in this game. I become enraged when some /FA scrapper comes bouncing by, especially if I'm stuck on a corner for a second, or even trying to maneuver around some densely packed hallway (such as the path to the tree room) and then get fired on while I'm just stuck. I feel my blood pressure rising just typing about it.

As for full pve invis, I got it by slotting the stealth io in teleport (whatever it's called for WS) and using the cloak power (whatever it's called).

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

I recently dropped super speed for nebulous form on my shade, so I get invisibility with shadow cloak and a stealth IO in sprint. I also have the invisibility pool power but I don't use it because of the "only affecting self" part... It's just an LOTG mule.

I use the Stealth IO if Nova so I can be lazier about how close I get to spawns before opening up. It just make accidental aggrop less likely, that's why I like it. I have Invis or neb+ss if I need it

This is what I intend, kinda the "every little bit counts" mentality. Plus, what else would I slot in there. I've read both that the performance shifter proc works and also that it doesn't work on the nova's endurance. And fly stealth is cheap.

Can't stack it with anything, really. And I'm sure not going to ghost missions with a nova. I tend to slot it in hover on my main, a blaster, but I also took the first three concealment for LotG rech mules, and I often turn stealth on as well, but it doesn't help at all after attack starts.

If nothing else, it's the closest to a costume, at least changing how it looks slightly, we can get on nova.

I never open up on a spawn with nova form on either my PB or my WS... Warshade likes to go in with eclipse and mires, and PB usually starts off with foot stomps to make nova blasting safer.
