Depending on the build, defense debuffs can be a problem as well. Arachnos and Carnie dark ring mistresses can be rough before you get your DDR up.
Funny thing you should mention arachnos. Just ran into them last night.survived but it was tough. Almost ran out with my shield between my legs to lower difficulty. Inspirations helped and it just became a kill first and fast sort of thing. I should add also that I am aware of the game mechanics on a basic level.its just that all my 50' s prior to this were mostly teamed or soloed at 0/1.
Incarnate content. The soft cap is higher, and about everything does def debuffs.

Build for 46.5% and put yourself 1 small purple from the iCap for defense. (59% iirc - although honestly there are so many buffs going around that my /SD brute tends to have rediculous numbers in trials so this part seems less necessary) Grab a Rebirth Radial side for your self heal, build to get solid DDR and then fear nothing.*
* - Except for rampant endurance drain and massive auto-hit/unresistable dmg. But you know, just about everything fears that last one.

Hello folks,
Thanks to the help of this great community I think I have one of every archetype to 50 including another scrapper. I decided to try my hand at the above combo and am now level 35 with a build I am happy with. I am soloing on +1/x6 right now and my defense is hovering around ~36ish or so for all positions and resistance around ~26ish or so.
Before 50 of course I will be softcapped with recharge bringing my 2 big hitters up every 29 seconds.
This sounds like a brag thread but I am seeking info......so far life has been amusingly good once I started IO'ing around lvl 32. Nothing seems to be be able to bring me down......but I know there are factions out there. What ones are best to avoid when running tips and radios on my way to 50? Which ones eat up this build for breakfast? I am guessing maybe devouring earth but haven't had the pleasure yet. My play time is limited so I am trying to go through as fast as possible. I haven't gone whole hog with the incarnate stuff yet as I just haven't felt it with any of my alts. But this guy may be the one, so hence the rush.
Any tips would be appreciated
