Dark, Dark regen not working right?

Ok, I have a lvl 50 kat/dark scrapper, So i definatly know the power set and never have had an issue like this before..


Basically it just doesnt fire.. and its not lag. I must have counted to 5 or 6, moved around, stoped, waited.. and it finally goes off. If i pressed another key like an attack durring this time, the power would fire just fine, but the dark regen would just stick and not do anything.

It works fine sometimes, but others it doesnt. Press the button, and watch the ring around the power just hold, and not do anything. Even just testing it out of combat ive watched 5+ seconds tick off before the power would fire, and not even in combat so its not an animiation stoping it.

Any clue what is going on?

But this is my tank, a dark/ice.. i was just saying i didnt have problems on my kat/dark.. never had this issue before.

I've had issue with some powers where the icon says it's recharged, even when it isn't. Maybe that has something to do with it.

Not sure if this is the same thing, but I've had some issue for 2-3 days now with medium/long recharge powers being recharged not going off even though they're shown as recharged and my netgraph shows a steady 250ms ping (which is usual for me).

I know this sort of thing happens a lot when there is a lot of server side lag going on, such as Mother Ship Raids, BAF's, etc. But it tends to happen to multiple powers, not just one. Essentially what happens is the client (your computer) is showing the power as being recharged but the server says the power is not recharged.

When you say it still happens out of combat, do you mean you just step away from the fighting and check or do you mean you are completely out of the instance?

See, your computer keeps track of the power icon, not the power recharge itself. When power is fired, your computer shrinks the icon down to minimum size and gradually builds it back up to full size. Your computer does not really keep track of the power's actual recharge time though, the server does that b/c of all the other factors involved. (if your computer actually kept track of the recharge time, that would be SO zploitable!)

well, this was on a team in the hollows, and i think we had like 5 people.. hardly something that is a lag fest.. (it was also about 2am, so population was small too)

I moved around a corner, and down a hall.. basically running from combat cause i couldnt get the heal to fire.. the button was up and it just wouldnt go off.

Perhaps it was just a bad laggy night.. Ill just keep it in mind next time i play the toon. Just was currious if there was any known issues with dark these days.

No it's not the video recording messing up, this is what the game does occasionally when I use AoEs.
