Dominator: Food Manipulation / Gourmet Assault

Food Manipulation

Level 1- Sear
Ranged, Moderate DMG (Fire), Immobilize, Minor DoT (Fire)
The world is your frying pan! As such, you can heat the ground underneath any targets feet to temperatures so hot that their flesh generally starts to fuse to the ground.

Level 1- Mash
Ranged, Moderate DMG (Smashing), Hold
You crush the victim by manipulating the air around him, squishing him until he’s nice and helpless. It also brings out the flavor!

Level 2- Batter
Targeted AoE, Moderate DMG (Smashing), Immobilize, Minor DoT (Smashing)
You can’t have your meal running around like that, or else your customers will go hungry! So break their legs a little.

Level 6- Steam
Location, Foe(-Perception, -ToHit, -resistance)
You can create a vortex of steam rise from the ground, blinding enemies and making them more tender and susceptible to pain.

Level 8- Simmer
Toggle PBAoE, Minor DoT (Fire), Foe –SPD
The area around you is always hot from your cooking aura. Enemy movement is Slowed as they attempt to flee from being brought to boil. All foes in the affected area suffer some damage over time.

Level 12- Tenderize
Targeted AoE, Minor DMG (Smashing), Stun
A good chef carries at least one meat tenderizer around in case the food isn’t perfect. Well, you’re not a good chef—you’re an awesome one. You can chuck all those little hammers at your enemy to soften them up for you.

Level 18- Blender
Location, Minor DoT (Lethal), Hold, -Defense
Your enemies will be helpless as step into your blender—thousands of razors will flay them alive if they do more than blink in your direction. Let’s hope for their sake none of them sneeze.

Level 26- Fry
Location, Moderate DoT (Fire), Foe (Fear, -SPD)
You create an intense fire designed to turn your foes into crispy critters. Mmmm….crispy critters…

Level 32- Sous-Chef
Pet Summon
No chef should work alone! With this power, you can summon your second in command to oversee issues that are too low for you to take notice of.

Gourmet Assault

Level 1- Peeling
Ranged, Minor DMG (Lethal), -Defense
Adept with any knife, you can fling your cutting utensil of choice at your foe, shaving some skin off to prepare for the meal.

Level 2- Slice
Melee, Moderate DMG (Lethal), -Defense
A quick cut with your knife makes your foe into a more bite sized portion.

Level 4- Reheat
Cone, Moderate DMG (Lethal/Fire), Chance for cancer
Your food is getting cold! Time to zap it with a bit of microwave radiation.

Level 10- Grill
Ranged, Moderate DMG (Fire)
It takes years to master the art, but you know how to grill your enemies to tender perfection. Tastes like chicken!

Level 16- Aim
Self +ToHit, +DMG
A good chef must make every movement count. Remember to measure twice, and cut once.

Level 20- Slice n Dice
PBAoE, Moderate DMG (Lethal), DoT, -Defense
Sometimes, a chef must take up his knives and do some serious cutting. This time is one of those times.

Level 28- Scramble
Toggle PBAoE, Foe (-SPD, -RCH)
People around you always seem to be running around like headless chickens. If they took a page from your book….well, you’d probably turn them into headless chickens. Teach you to steal from me!

Level 35- Flambé
Cone, Superior DoT (Fire)
You prefer adding a little bit of flash to your meals. To be a five star chef, you must go above and beyond in terms of visuals for preparation of food. So, every now and then you add a little bit of alcohol to flambé your enemies in a spectacular fashion.

Level 38- Boil
Ranged, Heavy DMG (Fire), chance for DoT
One of the most powerful attacks at your disposal, the ability to shoot liquid fire onto your enemies. Ouch, that burns.

Bird Melee

Level 1- Canary Kick
Melee, Minor DMG (Smashing), Chance for Stun
A quick kick to the opponents head, the Canary kick stands a good chance of disorienting your foe.

Level 1- Eagle Strike
Melee, Moderate DMG (Smashing)
A blow that hits like an eagle catching its prey—hard and fast. And definitely not with a long animation like a certain other Eagle attack that I won’t mention.

Level 2- Dove Defense
Melee, Minor DMG (Smashing), Self +Defense (Smashing, Lethal, Melee)
You move with the grace of a dove, and using your entire body, are able to move around obstacles and enemies without getting harmed.

Level 6- Build Up
Self +DMG, +ToHit
Did you hear about the bird? Everyone’s heard that the bird is the word! Bird bird bird, bird is the word…

Level 8- Crane Kick
Melee, High DMG (Smashing), chance for knockdown
Definitely not a Martial Arts powerset rip-off.

Level 12- Mocking Bird
Ranged, Foe Taunt
Tell your enemy that their momma looks funny. Alternatively, in the case of robots, that their momma was Windows Vista. Ouch, burn!

Level 18- Stork Slam
Melee, Moderate DMG (Smashing), -Fly, Chance for knockdown
Nothing tells an enemy you don’t want it near you like a two-handed slam to the head.

Level 26- Robin Roundhouse
PBAoE, Moderate DMG (Smashing), chance for knockback
A quick roundhouse kick that is both strong, and pretty.

Level 32- Falcon Punch
Melee, Superior DMG (Smashing/Awesome), Moderate Fire DoT
Ok, be honest. Did you see this one coming?

Water Armor

Level 1- Water Shield
Toggle: Self +Res(Smash, Lethal, Fire, Disorient)
While this power is active, the user can lessen the damage from most blows due the the cushion of water surrounding them.

Level 1- Needle Spray
Toggle: PBAoE, Minor DoT (Cold), chance for knockdown
While active, any foes that attempt to get near you will be continuously raked by biting water spray. As you fight, water will start to pool underneath you and can cause a tripping hazard for your enemies.

Level 2- H20
Self Heal, +Res(Toxic, Psi)
You can concentrate for a few moments to pass purifying water through your system. This will ease pains, cure some ailments, and even calm your mind.

Level 6- Fluid Movement
Auto, +Res(Fire, -Recharge, -Speed, -Jump, Knockback), +Def(Smashing, Lethal), +SPD
Fluid Movement allows water to emanate from the pores all over your body. This makes you very slippery and helps make you near impervious to burns.

Level 8- Wet Body
Toggle: Self +Defense(Smashing, Lethal, Fire, Energy, Negative Energy), +Res(Fire, Smashing, Lethal, Immobilize)
While this power is active, your body turns even more slippery; to the point where blows are either deflected or have less force of impact.

Level 12- Water Boy
Auto: Self +Regeneration, +Recovery
Normally, a human’s body is 75% water. Your body, on the other hand, is now 95% water. Naturally, you can recover more quickly from wounds and fatigue.

Level 18- Bubble Body
Toggle: Self +Res(Fire, Energy, Negative, Psi, Hold, Sleep)
With this power active, a large bubble forms around your body that gives your resistance to non-physical attacks.

Level 26- Raging Current
PBAoE, Superior DMG(Smash/Cold), Foe Knockdown, Self Teleport
A water wielder can naturally manipulate any source of water. This includes water in the atmosphere. Using this ability, you can look into the fabric of the universe and transport yourself to any nearby location at the blink of an eye, smashing through anyone in your path.

Level 32- Gushing Geyser
Self +Resistance(All Damage but Psionics, Disorient, Sleep, Hold, Immobilize, Repel, Knockback), +Recovery, +Regeneration, PBAoE; Foe Knockup
When you activate this power, water rushes from the ground up at high speeds around your body. This serves to deflect most blows but those of the mind, and can also make nearby foes lose their balance. When this power wears off, it will leave it's user exhausted, and drained of endurance.

I like how these sets could actually work, mechanically.

TV Control

Level 1- Re-runs
Ranged, Minor DMG (Smashing), Immobilize
Like a punch in the gut, you force your foes to come to the realization that there is nothing to watch on TV. What will they do? Their indecision paralyzes them in place.

Level 1- Pause
Ranged, Moderate DMG (Smashing), Hold
There are a couple things going on right now, and that enemy is the least important of them. Pausing the enemy will hold them until you’re ready to bother with him.

Level 2- Romantic Comedy
Targeted AoE, Moderate DMG (Psionic), Immobilize
You’ve put the enemy into a tricky spot. On one hand, they reaaaalllly don’t want to be caught watching this show—they have a reputation, you know. On the other hand, it looks really interesting and they haven’t seen it before. Their grief and vacillation causes them a tangible pain.

Level 6- Charmed
Cone, Confuse
You put on a TV series about three suburban witches for your enemies. Within moments they are enthralled with the show, though they may start to argue over who the “best” one is.

Level 12- Mute
Targeted AoE, Stun, Minor DMG (Energy)
Those enemies were annoying, so you muted them. Or struck them mute. Whatever.

Level 18- Stop
Targeted AoE, Hold
When Stop is activated, you can completely shut down a group of enemies until you are ready to watch them some more.

Level 26- Documentary
Location, Foe Sleep
You put on a documentary to educate the foes about the eventual end result of their nefarious ways. Unfortunately, this has the unintended effect of making them fall asleep. Whatever works, I suppose.

Level 32- Static
Pet Summon
The caster of this power can summon up to 3 static imps from the airwaves to play tricks and disrupt your enemies. These little buggers are not meant to live in this plane, however, and tend to fade in and out of reality randomly.

I'm Appalled to the fact that there are no Midget sets.... The Red Caps have a Midget toss... why not an entire set.... and what about Midget Control... I just don't understand why they would be left out...
