To display an image on these forums you use Image-tags, like this:

**URL of wicked-cool picture**
[/image]
The image must be hosted by you (on DeviantArt is fine, but other possibilities include PhotoBucket and ImageShack, or your own server). Most other places get irritable about having their bandwidth burnt up by hot-linking to their images.
If the picture is 'racey' or otherwise NSFW, like if it includes nudity, then it must be set up with a double-click and NSFW warning. Otherwise, the Mods will cut it out, or delete your post. DeviantArt has decent tools for this.

Actually, i'm not certain the [image] tag will work. I'm pretty sure you need to use [img]URL[/img]
Remember, the URL needs to be a direct link to the image, in this case:
http://th05.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/...us-d3k5vag.jpg, not the link to the deviant art page.
