Positive nicknames for free players

I've been saying "freebie" in conversation with my wife about it.
I wasn't making any distinction between free and premium players though, I was just using the term to describe those players who aren't paying a monthly subscription fee.

Personally, I'll go with 'hey who wants to join a team' and avoid anything even remotely close to the term 'noob', since it's often been linked to a mostly derogatory connotation involving some fool who refuses to learn and thinks they know EVERYTHING.
