I shouldn't be surprised at this - Nvidia has always been the king of OpenGL since the 3DFX days...

Rolled back from 11.6 to 11.3... then found that 11.3 does not support my screen resolution properly -- 1600 x 900 @ 60 Hz (the only option), screen is distorted. Went from there to 11.4 (same resolution has 59 Hz available, which looks fine), and everything is stable so far.

(It occurs to me that this is what I had for my old card. I changed from an HD 4650 to an HD 5670 when the old card started malfunctioning.)

Two ITFs and a Posi 1, at "Recommended", no crashes at all... or at any other time since I rolled back to the 11.4 drivers. I think the problem has been solved.

Suprised nobody started a thread about this even earlier.
Yes I had trouble with the 11.6s. A lot. After I installed them I had Display Driver crashes in most 3D applications, especially CoH though and they sometimes crashed even just watching youtube videos.
(Running a 5870 on Windows 7 64bit)
These drivers are HORRIBLE and nearly make me regret going AMD.

In fact I had to do a complete reinstall of Windows to clear up the problem. Using 11.5s now and probably will be for quite a while as it's the most stable I've found with the 5870.

I had 11.6 installed on my 4870 vid card, thought the crashing was because it was an old card and dying, so I bought a new 6870 and still had the same problem, rolled back to 11.3 and it seems stable enough, but now am having troubles with Win7 that I think may be driver related so trying 11.4 hoping it'll solve my woes.
