I don't want the times of this to interfere with the endeavors of the AE Storyteam... but the times and days are subject to change based on author availability.
I just wanted to have Wednesdays be a launching ground for this and see where it goes.
And authors, please don't fret about how early or rough you feel your creation may be... that's what this is for.

Hmm... colour me intrigued. I simply haven't had as much time to CoH in general as I used to, but I'd love to get in on this, especially as I'm greedy and want to get one of my arcs reviewed... basically, I dusted it off recently, took advantage of the increased file-size to update it, and and would love to drag it out of the four-star limbo it currently languishes in. Planning to polish that sucker until it either gleams, screams, or both, and this sounds like a great way to do it, plus hey, Guardian, my home server! (@Wall of Knight in the game- *waves to SupaFreak*)

Again, that's what this is about... getting exposure to the later arcs, authors in need of a boost or things along those lines.
I really, really, really want to stress for people to see creations for what they are.
Like, when I see Thor in the theatres... I'm not going to be pleased if I was hoping for The Piano, I Spit on Your Grave or The Smurfs.
I may have my favorite genre, but I appreciate things for what they are and that's all I'm asking those who participate. Just because it's not my cup of tea doesn't mean it's not someone else's.
If this develops how I hope, we can try to find reviewers who appreciate a certain genre to help review and comment to arcs that fit a category.
Either way, I'll be here for the long haul (pending real life circumstances of course)...
If a night other than Wednesday would be better for you, please let me know. I do not mind switching the night here and there to meet and experience your creations with you.

Didn't see SupaFreak but me and Bubbawheat joined TeChameleon to help test Small Fears.
Oh crud.... I'm back! And so is this and I'm ready to run thru an arc with the author on Wednesday night if anyone's interested!
Yea, since I went AWOL for nearly 6 weeks... think I should go back and try "Small Fears" since the TeChameleon made a show when I couldn't.
Freedom is upon us... and I've got some "I never get played!" 50s ready to transfer to alternate servers. Seen there's going to be a 6 Character Transfer deal during the Head Start and I plan to take advantage of that. Any takers on which server(s) I should invade first with my deadbeats? o.O
Move one to Exalted for when we have events. Also, my home server is Victory so I'd enjoy having you over, especially if it's something with blueside access.
I will be updating the info on all AExcellence posts this weekend to reflect the CoH:Freedom situation.
Guardian will remain my primary home, but I now have on the following servers:
Exalted: Lvl 50 Vigilante
Victory: Lvl 50 Vigilante
Freedom: Lvl 50 Villain (probably will make Rogue in time)
Pending: 3 character transfers

Level Range: Range 11-15 (Challenging but not too difficult)
Synopsis: A rash wave of vandalism plagues Hyperion Way. Reports say the Hellions are causing more trouble that usual. A call for heroes is issued, Ms. Liberty is looking for you.
Length: (5 missions, 2 medium, 3 small)
Estimated Time to Play: With a lvl 15 non-slotted scrapper (the gimped Power Pool Kid) it took me 1 hour 35 min. with 5 deaths
I published this arc a while back but it was riddled with issues. I received some good feedback on how to improve the arc from GlaziusF and some great ideas from Zamuel due to his review and in game chats.
I got pretty discouraged working on it with horrible lag in Ae, various Ae bugs, the filter etc. At one point just gave up, tho I knew I would get the urge to work on it again someday.
Someday finely came around. I hope the major overhaul makes it a more enjoyable experience than is predecessor.

SupaFreak thank you for running this and the input you gave. I was worried that it was a lot to take it but on the other hand I've read that some like a lot of info.
I tried hard to straddle the fence with this arc so it action packed for the "I don't care about the story, give me a battle crowd" but if ya care to take your time and read, there's a story about a petty gang that just might upset the balance of gang life in Paragon and more.
I love this games written history. Cannon is another thing I tried my best adhere to. I did help it along with an explanations of why Megan doesn't use her first name Jessica, and bios on the Midnighter and the longbow Agent etc. but these were unanswered areas.
My only gripe is the defendable objects. Their not team friendly. They should be scaled up on hp for every member added to the team, but oh well they are what they are.

First Son, I very much enjoyed hanging with you and giving my input/feedback. You've put a great deal of care into catering to both crowds here, which isn't easy to do.
Yes, the lore in CoH is deep and strong for those that do take the time to dig into the canon... but then again... this is a fast-paced MMO that tends to lean towards team-play.
I feel it's important to try and make sure you get the jist of your story across while keeping the action moving at a good pace... and keep it interesting. Filling a map with 1 unique encounter/objective is sooo 2004 and I feel "A Favor for Liberty" is very much with the times.
It's a memorable arc and you should be proud of it.
And I am honored to have experienced it with you.

The logic behind "Mission: Æxcellence"
The greater the demand for player-created content improves the chances that authors and mission designers will be given greater tools in which to present their stories and missions. Therefore, "Mission: Æxcellence" has been created in hopes of bringing together positive and community-minded individuals to improve the quality and demand of player-created content.
Almost sounds like a mission statement! O.O
What's this about?
- Sessions of aspiring authors and avid mission players within the Architect Entertainment system to provide testing, plays and feedback to participating authors in a positive and respectful manner.
- Note that authors who participate more will have their arcs given higher priority, but will only be 1 at a time. Otherwise, lower rating and lower played arcs will be the priority.
- The driving force behind these sessions will be the community and the continued participation in helping aspiring authors and mission designers provide a highly polished finished product they can be proud of.
- There will be no special treatment towards any author due to their veteran or A/E status. How soon an author's creation (or re-creation) gets played will be based on their participation.
Who is this for?- First and foremost, positive-minded people who get involved.
- These sessions are for those who want to be inspired and be an inspiration to the community around them... continuously.
- These sessions will not be for those who simply want to create a mission or arc, publish it, advertise it and hope for plays while they are off doing missions, task forces and trials.
- For the non-authors, these sessions will be a way to voice your opinons on how authors can better improve aspects of their creations.
What genre of arcs are valid?- Every genre except blatant farms. Canon-related, comedy, horror, origin, etc. are all welcome.
- Please have a "Published" product and do "Test" mode beforehand, even if the work is "In Progress" is fine.
- It will be encouraged to see your creations for what they are, and not for what they are wanted to be.
- Individuality is high on the list of priorities here, but please be open to input.
How often are the sessions held?- Mission: Æxcellence is now by request, so there is no set day or time.
- Please give me at least 3 days notice so that I may post here and give others opportunities to participate.

Where are the sessions held?- The Architect Entertainment building in Rikti War Zone will be the meeting point, so all levels and archetypes are welcome
- Though my home server is Guardian, I now have transfered characters to the following servers to visit you on your turf: Exalted, Freedom, Virtue, Victory, Liberty, Justice, Union & Defiant.
- I do plan on transfering characters to the remaining servers as Free Server Transfers become available.
