Was I crazy? Or crazy like a fox?

I've just returned to CoH after a couple of years away, and discovered that my warshade has Stealth and Combat Jumping trained. I have absolutely no recollection as to why. The only thing that I can think of that makes any sense is that I picked those powers solely to put unique IOs on for some sort of buff. Since I'm playing tri-form, I don't have a whole lot of need for powers that only work in human form, so perhaps I was thinking that I could slot something useful into those two that couldn't be slotted in the other power options for that level.

But mostly I'm confused. I don't want to say that past-me was insane, but I'm having a hard time finding my train of thought. If anyone has any insight on just what I may have been thinking, I'd sure love to hear it!

Probably LOTG +recharge IO's.

I'll admit it right now. My past me was insane. In fact, my past past me was much more insane than the past me was, as I have taken two breaks from the game.

My best advice is to download Mid's hero builder, and make several builds. Then, figure out which you like more. Throw away the rest. Then, rebuild the one you liked most, and make it better. Also, consider taking "junk powers" in order to fill slots, but never seriously consider slotting or using them (like taking kick and punch to get tough or weave). OR, take powers that don't require slots to be pretty good, like assualt, tactics, or superspeed.

Yeah I've logged old toons after 1 year or more and thought "wth was I thinking". Occasionally I'd see the costume I chose and thought "omg no!".

You play a Tri-Form Warshade? Yeah, I'd use stealth and combat jumping as mules for LotG +recharge IOs. In fact, my MFing Warshade has Combat Jumping, Stealth, Grant Invisibility, and Invisibility. All are slotted with LotGs and none of them sit in my tray.

I would really suggest you give my guide a read, The MFing Warshade. It should catch you right back up to speed in no time.

Dechs, why don't you take shadow cloak, 2 invisibility powers (or one and combat jumping,) maneuvers, (then tactics) and vengeance for lotg mules? I feel like vengeance is a mule that actually has a pretty awesome use.

Probably because that requires tactics to get to veng, and you may not have enough extra power picks for that.

Shadow cloak is my fifth LotG.
