Dark/DB tanktroller?
At work right now so can't take a detailed look at it, (besides I expect Dechs will chime in eventually anyway regarding the DA part of it) But just at glance I'd say, "Where's the touch of the nictus proc in Dark Regeneration?" That IO is just made for that power.
And just a sorta aside... I've debated this idea of a tanktroller as well, but was thinking of Dark/Stone (along taking the presence pool as you do) to get both stacking fears and stacking disorients and the soft controls of the knockdown... Oh yeah and the hold in Seismic Smash... Just food for thought
The values on the pool power fears are so horrible as to make them almost completely worthless, especially when considering higher con foes. I took OG for the times when the fears aren't covering the whole mob group.
And yeah, I worked up a fighting pool version who gives much better personal protection but wondered about the end usage.
I did forget to use the steadfast for it though so defensive numbers will be slightly higher.

I love the concept, but I don't think I'd do it, not with the build you posted at least. And I don't think I could do any better at making a Dark/DB any more effective in the role than you did, either.
The build you posted sacrifices a ton to be more troller than usual, and doesn't pick up near enough value to my mind to make those sacrifices worth while, and not for lack of Inf, either. Even with several purple sets, and a couple of the expensive ones, I still don't think the end result produces enough. I'd agree with the previous posters and say that dumping Presence and focusing more on traditional tanking build would be best in this case, or using a different set as a secondary.
A pity, too, because I'd embrace any good use for the Presence set.
BTW, does anyone know the numbers for weaken and is it different for tanks as opposed to scrappers?

I have no idea, and wish I did, too.
I tried to see if Redtomax had it, and frankly, couldn't decipher the notation.
ie Under Typhoon's Edge it shows (among a ton of other details)
"ToHit -7% for 20s If Dual Blade Debuff Mode 2"
but nowhere did I see and explanation of what 'Debuff Mode 2' is.
I ran a dark/db tank to 50 and really did not care for it. Just seemed a mismatch.
I do still have a bs/dark scrap that went with presence and it worked quite well.
A few friends have run dark/stone tanktrollers that are very effective.
You could run a dark/stone/presence and have the best of both worlds.
Stacked stuns (OG, Fault, etc)Stacked fears (CoF, Invoke Panic, etc)
I was planning to run the combo as a brute this time around but I'll post the build since it would be essentially the same for a tank barring a few power order differences.....

If it works for you, it'd be a very inexpensive build compared to many others, too, which is another plus.
redtomax uses highly specific jargon, such as debuff mode 2, which has specific meaning in the programming area of paragon studios I'm sure. In non programmer speak : -7% tohit when weaken combo is achieved. You can find out these kinds of things by using the detailed info, in game, to avoid redtomax's confusing jargon.

As for the rest of your build, I can't really comment on it. I don't have mids with me here at the office and I haven't been having much time outside of the office to go over builds. What I can do for you is point you to an old build of mine... It's actually the build that was used in my "Dark Armor Sucks" video. Now it's old, so it doesn't have inherent fitness. But I figure it can give you some ideas at the very least.

RE: Dark/stone
As somebody who has a level 50 Earth/storm controller who thinks you can never have too much control, Dark/stone comes across as overkill in the control department. OG, or Fault takes care of such a huge amount of mitigation the other feels not needed even though the stacked stuns let you stun bosses. This is further added as an issue depending on what kind of controllers and doms are on the team. It still will be my main tank for one server, but I think my original idea of how happy I was going to be with it has gone down a little bit.
OK guys, I reworked the tank thanks to all the comments from everyone. I used Dechs build as a template and came up with this.
It's not as trollerish as I started with, but it looks like a strong tank anyway. I'll still have OG and weaken for some troller nature, just not a huge amount anymore.

Hey guys, I'm making a Dark/DB tank and was wondering if the concept of a tanktroller would be possible (I know Dark/Ice would be better for that). I can easily see being able to do this during normal gameplay, the question is will this kind of build be ok for the TF/AV tanking roles for large groups that will be expected of a decent tank?
Any opinions or improvements to this build would be appreciated.
