Elec/Pain?
I have an elec/pain and I like the combo. With the ability to get Power Boost it helps with the end draining of targets and increase the heals of my character. I also feel that it adds a good deal to the team. I can play buffer if I want or switch playstyle to end draining/damage. When I am solo I like buffing my pet from the PPP and casting a Voltaic Sentinel to help out. I cannot wait until I get my incarnate Lore and I will feel like a MM...lol

So, I went ahead and started this character, up to level 16 now - so far so good. Here is the build that I am marching towards, it gets to the Def softcap for Range. I wonder, though, if I am underslotting some of the Pain Dom powers. Most just have one slot. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you intend for it to end drain? Heal? Or? Just achieve ranged defense soft-cap? I'd be happy to assist in commentating on the build, but i'd rather have feedback then just make a build.
I am going for full power blasts and good heals, with capped range defense. End Drain is not a priority at all for me. The approach here is to do everything from range.
I am about to start up a new character, who, for backstory reasons, will have Healing/buffing and Elec blasts. I have always played hero characters until now, and was going to make an Empathy/Elec Defender, but now am considering doing an Elec/Pain Corruptor instead.
Anyone have experience with this configuration? How well did it work out? Given this is more of a concept build, I don't need it to be the uberest, but I don't want it to be terrible, either.
What (if any) are the downsides to rolling a Corruptor instead of a Defender? This character will start in Praetoria, so the early mission content will be the same, regardless.
