The builds not that bad (should work above -1/1 anyway). It could be how she's playing it does she keep them in aggressive or defensive mode?

Is she *currently* at level 50 or is this an "eventual" build plan?
Is she dying to specific mobs?
Does she know about bodyguard mode?

I don't think I'd put two Slow IOs into Demonlings, for starters - dont' forget, with three of them they're -2 to you. Assuming you're not looking at sets, at *least* another acc (at least the way I do it,)

Don't really *need* three END reduction in the two upgrades. (And IIRC there's an END cost reduction in the works for those, too.)

The whip attacks give some decent -res - they're probably the only MM attacks you'll get a consistent "Take at least one of them!" on.

You have a defense buff IO in CJ, but that's still not a lot of defense. You have nothing to stack it with other than set bonuses. I'd almost think a -KB IO (to keep her on her feet) would be better there. Which would also let you drop Acrobatics for something else.

I'd move the Numina +regen/+recov into Suppress Pain instead of one of the heals, for more consistent use - or put it in Health. if you don't mind forgoing the bonus for six slotting it. If you're going for the defense, SP.

Just off the first quick run through.

Lets not forget the sticky on top of the forums.

Yours or her issue is not understanding Masterminds it's understanding the game mechanics. As an example your slotting Unique IOs in powers that are making them less likely to go off.

Do a search for pain in these forums and corruptors to look at other builds to get an idea. Look at the numbers in those builds and compare them to what you have for this build. Of course you need to understand what those links are saying to understand what those builds are saying to you.

Then come back and post another build. The posted build is just not good for many reasons.

Your better off learning about certain rules in the game and then rebuilding the set. Otherwise your just asking someone to post a build for you. If that is the truth then you might as well just do a search on the forums for a pain build because no one here is going to know your GF game play style.

I almost cant understand how a MM cant solo -1/1 no matter the set. I can understand how a 'newbie' MM player can have trouble with both how to play it and how to slot it.

Here's a diff build that don't use the heal procs in a heal(best in Health). i wont say this is better but this is something i would use. I somewhat know how to slot a MM got almost every type at 50(Zom,Demon,Bots,Thugs,Mercs.) and i do know pain and 3 End redux in SP is over kill, its a very cheap toggle.

Hope this gives a better idea on how a MM can work. As some1 said before MMs will be getting a buff so there upgrade powers cost less(why i only put one redux). Let it be know I am NOT saying how to do things but giving a idea so you can put your spin on it.

PS: The T3 is your Control pet. T2s for Dmg(Hellfire) and Support(Heal/Res toggle). Keep that in mind, my bro found that hell on earth was better on the T2 Hellfire after i told him that.
