I really want to role a Ninja/storm, whats the downside to Ninja's? people say there not that good.

Wonky AI, extra run speed (makes them very difficult to control, because they enjoy sprinting to almost any target randomly), and they're also relatively weak when it comes to taking hits. They're all about defense, but Ninjas/Storm is a chaos generating machine. You'll always be on your toes. I suggest hitting up Mids.

Yeah. Basically... they are a DEF based set with extremely poor DEF, poor AoE damage and insane AI. They are also a melee-based set, and all of those tend to get wrecked by later-game content.

They do good single target damage, but any boss-type enemy with an AoE will wipe them all out pretty fast. You'll spend a lot of time resummoning, and if its a hard fight you'll blow your endurance, end up with no living pets, then no health and chilling in the hospital.

Pass dude. Find a way to enjoy Mercs, Bots, Thugs or maybe Demons even.

One valuable skill to acquire while playing Ninjas is to *not* let them pick their own targets, especially if there's a Boss hanging around. You lose Bodyguard (Follow + Defensive) when you order them to attack (edit that default macro - you do *NOT* want that "aggressive" there!), but when they concentrate on something, it goes down quite fast.

Besides demons, what would you say is a good build? I'm looking for something cool rather then good lol..

Then go with Ninja!

Ninja is playable but if you are frustrated with them later, don't say we never warn you.

All MM primaries are playable. Some just have an easier time because they are more like "point and click". Ninja requires a lot more babysitting because they die a lot faster. Technically they die faster because they 'melee' more. Most pets die just as quick if they go in (hint Medic, tier 1 Thugs).

Ninja/Storm is actually a decent combo especially if you solo. I say especially because some people hate hurrican on a team if you use it all the time but when you solo, you have no such problem. Just run in with hurrican and let your ninjas do the dirty work. The amount of -tohit debuff stacks nicely with your Ninja's defense. Just make sure you slot Steamy for some +defense and take Maneuver for more defense. The knockbacks will make ninjas run wild but it's better than resummoning all the time.

The only combo I will not advise is Ninja/Trick. You are just asking for headaches unless you use Taunt + Bodyguard combo but if I want to taunt, I'll play Tankers. That's just my belief and I will not change it. I don't care if that's how the game balances MM's survival. Well, it's no secret that I haven't played MM for a long time. MM used to be my most favorite. I start every game as some sort of summoner class.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Ninja/Storm (or any MM, for that matter) will have no problem killing and surviving almost all content, whether solo or teamed as you level up.

I will say, however, that Destroyers in Praetoria, and Arachnos (darn Drone Coordinators) or Scrapyarders (darn Demolitionists) will give you the roughest time, so avoid them if you can.

The issues that most of these forum-goers have is the fact that, without a good build, your pets are going to get eaten by most 50+ content.

My opinion on the matter: either you'll take your ninja/storm seriously, and build it until it has no problems w/ Incarnate content, or you won't take it seriously, and probably won't start the incarnate content to begin with.

(btw, my main is Ninja/Storm, so if you ever want to see it in action, PM me so we can meet on Champion)
